In the Villains & Vigilantes Revised Edition RPG (1982,) Vibratory powers are described this way: "The power to create powerful patterns of vibration. This has a range of (Agility times 2) and does 2d8 damage when used as an attack. There is also an (sic) (Strength times 2%) chance that a special attack (to do so) will destroy a device completely by vibrating it apart. (Power Requirement) = 5 per attack. When the character uses this power as a defense, (they are) setting up a rapid vibrational pattern through (their) own body so that attacking forces will slip harmlessly between the very molecules of (their) body. Cont..." "Cont... This same capability may be employed to enable the character to pass through solid objects: this costs 2 points of Power per use (or 2 uses per charge for devices.) Each (5 feet) of solid matter moved through has a movement cost has a movement cost equal to the substance's structural point rating (see off-topic chart,) and only movement is employed; no actions are required." The Flash of DC comics has Vibratory powers. I submit that sound effects will be similar to a Star Wars light sabre.

I use the Base Teleporter Beacon mod and High Visibility Mouse Cursors. Awesome mods! Not to be nit-picky but some of the beacons are unlabeled. It's Cascade Archipelago, The Chantry, Imperial City, and Firebase Zulu. Thanks for both mods! -

I had installed the Conversion Possibilities PopMenu and chose the macro to trigger it. /macro popmenu ConvPoss When I clicked the macro there was no response. I uninstalled/reinstalled and still no response. I thought that maybe I had to load the enh into the Conversion window but there was still no response. What am I doing wrong?

Arcanum's Spellbinding Holiday Giveaway!

Thank you for your generosity! -
Ok, after reading this thread I gave the Baby New Year mish another try on a couple of toons and I think I realized why I struggled so hard last year. Last year, I was doing the Lady Winter mish 4 times to get the four badges and then doing the Baby New Year mish 5 times to get Toothbreaker. I guess I wasn't paying attention enough to realize that I could just do the Lady Winter mish once and then the Baby New Year mish 5 times to get the same badging results.

The only one I recognize is the redside song which is Rob Zombie's "Dragula." The rest I enjoy but canNOT find anywhere on the internet. -
I was told to post here by a GM. I did.

Last year, I toiled and struggled and cried and bled during the Winter Event to get the Toothbreaker badge for quite (too) many of my toons. This year, during the Valentine Event, I very nearly effortlessly got the Toothbreaker badge for the new toons I had created since the Winter Event and had to kick myself for wasting time getting the badge during the Winter Event (disclaimer: "kick myself" is an ancient popular phrase that references physical assault against oneself as fake self-punishment for a bad decision made. This explanation is for you whippersnappers that don't understand "ancient" jargon.) If you want the Toothbreaker badge, just be patient and wait for the Valentine Event. Try to badge *one* toon during the Winter Event for the Snaptooth badge to understand what I mean. And then badge the rest of your toons during the Valentine Event. You'll thank me later.

Because I didn't understand the process.

As I normally do on a newly-created toon, I went to Null the Gull to change my alignment. I also pick up the Gullible badge while I'm there. On one of my toons, I went through the conversation choices to get the badge and succeeded. However, I didn't transform into a gull. And I remained fully mobile. I posted about it on the Help channel and no one seemed to know about it. However, several players came by to test it and the process was completely normal for them. I wasn't wearing any Prestige or Hologram costumes. Just regular items obtained from Icon. Dark Round glasses, Eden top, Tai gloves, Bikini 3 bottom and Work Boots was all I had on. Nothing else unusual happened or has happened. Maybe my computer didn't get the "signal" to transform or something? It's an old computer, if that helps with the troubleshooting.
-
I've reported this twice and haven't had a resolution. One of my toons went to see Null the Gull to change alignment. I do this for all of my toons, I first went through the conversation to get the Gullible badge. Only this time, I wasn't transformed. My toon remained human but I received the badge anyway. After posting in the Help channel, several players (half a dozen or so) came to Pocket D and went through the transformation to get the badge normally. I opened a ticket to report this bug. Twice. The response I (finally) got was "Tell Null that you want to be more powerful and then follow that conversation to its conclusion."

Hey! That's a great idea! Thanks! I didn't even consider possible "photo-ops!"

This is embarrassing. The feet are exactly the same color as the pants. Is there a fix for this? The hands have a similar problem. And the waist.

Hardly anyone uses the dance floor. All I'm asking is if it were possible to add some dancers I could dance with. Yes, I know you're still harping on War Witch. I was just demonstrating how unclear your posts are. And go argue about War Witch somewhere else. You're off topic, here.
-
Can a few more dancers be added that don't have a partner? I'm not asking to cover the floor, of course. Maybe some ATs (Ghost Widow, Manticore, etc) too. That way, after a hard day's work arresting criminals/defeating heroes, I can go dance for a while without having to feel like I'm intruding. Also, could you add at least one more Ring Mistress? Their outfits are so hot!

ATC's Badge List PopMenu
Display Name replied to AboveTheChemist's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
I'm sorry. I don't understand why it's highlighting the badges in one place but not the other...? To be clear, I'm certain that I don't have the badges because I'm at 1624 and these two and two other badges are still missing from the list. -
ATC's Badge List PopMenu

I don't understand something about the list. In the Exploration > Cooperative > Labyrinth of Fog section it shows that I'm missing two badges (Hidden in the Fog and Lab Rat.) But underneath "Place Thumbtack," both the badges are highlighted. When I go into the Hidden in the Fog section, all of the badges are highlighted. What am I missing? Edit: I couldn't get a screen shot because as soon as I pressed the Prt Scrn button, the menu unpopped. -
If get the Notice of teh Well, does the badge disappear? Can I get it back?
-
My badge tracker lists a badge "Temporal Warrior" in the Accolades badges. I can't find it anywhere. Is this real?
-
1) Is it possible to get the Beta Tester badge? 2) If a toon has 100 badges and is awarded the Bug Hunter badge, will it show "101 badges" in the Personal Info window on the Badges tab?
-
So I'm doing the Tobias Hansen arc in Flashback. And in the mish "Destroy the Vampyr Lab" I get this popup when I successfully complete and exit the mish. Is this a glitch or something?
-
UltraAlt. Try making a minotaur costume and you'll immediately see what I mean. Bull head, monstrous torso, hooved feet. When you get to hooved feet you'll cringe so hard that your computer might crash.
-
This also includes the hands, btw. I created a minotaur humanoid toon. The body was hairy and dark brown. Like any self-respecting minotaur should be. But when I selected the hooves for the feet... Ugh!!!!! It's like I wore socks when I suntanned! Same with the hands!? I fixed the hands with gloves. But the hooves... Oof! Can this be fixed, please? I'm embarrassed to play this toon.

There's a specific mish in the Aeon Strike Force where you have the option of communicating with the All-Mother. This is an option to exit the mish. No one ever does this. Like, ever. In "speed Aeon" runs, this makes no sense at all. I asked about it in the Help channel and someone told me that it's analogous to attacking the "left" hydra at the end of DFB. We need to do better.
