  1. No. We tried that, it was not that fun.
  2. lol There is absolutely no way in hell they are going to rebalance the game to not have Hasten. CoH 2.
  3. This would probably also improve the debuffs and controls of other ATs... but it’s an interesting idea.
  4. Ah, well no I’m not worried they’re going to do that. I agree, they won’t. Rather, I am letting others know they won’t, who think they might.
  5. What are you expecting to happen? That this conversation is going to produce the solution, that the devs will then take that as offered and go implement it?
  6. I think it's just designed to get players to accidentally aggro if they follow or mistarget and to reward CC for keeping spawns collected. I don't think it was ever "dumbed down" from a previous version where the groups aggroed automatically. Though I admit the idea has some merit. Again, if the AI change isn't too hard, perhaps this could be part of an expanded difficulty setting.
  7. All that's being said is that further difficulty should be restricted to Optional modes and future Incarnate content. What is the big problem?
  8. The purple patch was put in so simply the EXISTING level of power was appropriate. ED was put in so FUTURE power would be appropriate.
  9. small side note, you may be aware of this, but using "powexec_location target" or "powexec_location self" you can now bind or macro location targeted powers to be located at your target or yourself instead.
  10. Yes, it is really true. They put in the Purple Patch and ED so they would have room to give us more power later. This was explicitly so.
  11. Because they wanted us to have to earn that level of power, not just get it with SOs.
  12. Right, I understand, this just goes back to the fact the incarnate system was unfinished. Dark Astoria is designed to give you a challenge while you are building up your incarnate powers and IO build. There is not yet content designed to be challenging after you have all of that, that’s the stuff that has yet to be made. The rest of the game doesn’t need to be changed, we just need that harder content. And perhaps a harder difficulty mode for the existing content, as an option.
  13. Yea that sounds about right.
  14. They do. DA and other Incarnate content has Incarnate level enemies.
  15. Obviously the Next new set we get won't be a Blaster Secondary, but seriously I would love to get a Staff Fighting variant for Blasters so I can make a King Triton-ish Water/Staff Blaster.
  16. I think changing the existing content is too big an ask and probably just a mistake in general. Defense bonuses in future Incarnate content, agreed.
  17. right, but I'm saying it should be limited to the level 50 game, the rest of the game doesn't need to change in that regard.
  18. On a different subject: I am very happy with the proposal to balance Blaster secondaries. A couple of the newer ones probably need to be reined in a little and a couple of the older ones probably could use a buff. Bringing these in line with one another will make it feasible to buff Sentinels with more leeway to avoid treading on Blasters toes.
  19. Changing the underlying math of the game itself is unlikely to happen. As much as I agree with your general point, it's just not going to happen. What DID happen, and can be exploited by the Devs in future content, is to increase the Base accuracy of the mobs in Incarnate content. It's a much more feasible approach.
  20. It's totally doable. Just requires bringing Support toons and the team staying together and people knowing how the trial works.
  21. That's all fine. I think we were just making a very specific point that i24 was NOT, in any way shape or form, an HC issue. It was designed, tested, and implemented 100% by Paragon Studios back in 2012, long before HC or SCORE existed.
  22. Balancing the support sets is a necessary first step to making all support useful.
  23. No. i24 was on Legacy Test. It was NOT an HC issue.
  24. Though if we're being honest Dark Miasma/Affinity is still incredibly strong on all ATs, so not really something to be concerned with.
  25. Hey, yea, sure, why not?
