Introducing Metro Plaza: A new (max item count) travel HUB and RP spot filled with custom constructions and set in an urban seaside train terminal! While it has a simple and easy-to-use layout, Metro Plaza is the opposite of a barebones base. As such, visual scale 5 (/vis_scale 5) is recommended. Try GO-28888 today! Base Macro: /macro_image "Temporary_Warburg_MegaBuff" "Teleport: METRO PLAZA" "em trainwhistle$$enterbasefrompasscode GO-28888" Enjoy! (@Garbage Wizard)

Thunder and Lightning - Storm Superteam starts May 14 at 8pm EDT

Why is this pinned? -
Ah you're right, they are spelled different, but that's certainly the base they meant. Not sure what your point about changing the wiki is. A pinned post with some structure would do wonders.
-
I didn't hear about that one until recently. Definitely add it to the list on the wiki.
-
It's the first one on the list and sort of the first main big one that was advertised on Excelsior. On that note (and to OP,) advertising and quality of the base are the two main things. I created The Station and (try to) advertise it in AP broadcast and Help channels during peak hours. The ad is usually focused toward players who are either new, don't have an SG, or just need an easy to use and well made travel hub. There are a few dozen people who use it regularly as a result. You do bring up a good point about getting the word out better. Maybe one solution would be to have a pinned post in each respective sub forum containing that shard's travel hubs? Just a simple list that could be added to would work.

Hubs are just player-created public bases and there are several on Excelsior, each with its own macro. I can't speak for the activity of the The Cosmic Council's hub. In terms of base items, you might be looking for the Super Collider object for the higher tier empowerment stuff.

Seems like the perfect base to use the new water fill tiles!

Nothing in-the-round was judged. Having said that, most of the creatures barely approached 2.5D and for me it was easy to see that was the intention. Gray Oracle did nothing wrong (and certainly nothing malicious.) There's no need for anymore argument.

Do you have cel shading active? If so that's the problem.
-
Having the area that's clearly meant to be clickable almost not clickable at all sounds like a mistake was made and that the items are no longer working as intended. I think we should push for a fix and hear from the dev before going and making changes to our bases. If the change was reverted and then the clickable box was truly extended below, leaving the chests fully clickable up top, I think we would all be happy.

So many awesome bases! Check em out!
-
Oh for sure! Just know that the numbers part of your base passcode is not changeable via ticket, just the name of the SG itself. Cheers!

What I would suggest is make another alt and invite them to your original SG. Then after you're satisfied with your NEW base, you can leave the original SG with your main and invite them/promote them to the new SG so that they're the leader of the new base. PLEASE MAKE SURE to have an alt in your OG supergroup so that it doesn't disappear when you transfer your main. An SG goes poof when no one is in it and I'm sure you want to keep it around. After all of that is done, you can put in a support ticket to rename the new SG if that's something that interests you. That part might take a little time though as it's not really an urgent request. Hope that helps!

This should go in the entries thread!

Game Crash when trying to place (or even look at) objects

Turn off cel shading. The editor doesn't play nice with it. -

The bottoms of Stone Portals are invisible and the object doesn't make any noise. Just FYI, you can just have a plain clickable door currently. Enable hidden markers to see the large clickable area for placement purposes.

Indeed it is. The child/parent relationship between the geometry and the fx emitter is out of whack.

Lovely as always, Gem!

It may be that you have cel shading on. That crashes the editor.
-
It's 100% a build issue

Definitely see if deleting them makes anything better, yeah. I hope it all works out. @Garbage Wizard

How many-ish FX objects are we talking here? If we're taking many hundred then I think that's to blame. It has happened to me on several occasions and can be reproduced in testing. I'm not sure there's a way around it other than placing the FX last if possible.

2k feet above? Are the FX rooted to the same base room as the objects above the base?
