  1. so people will start excluding people that arent maxed out? is that the game we want or is that an attempt to copy wow?
  2. So if I sit in a glowie mission and take 4 hours to find it, should that effect other peoples rewards? When I solo a Dr Q tf should I get a 40 million inf bonus because it takes a while? xp/inf per kill is basically the only metric they can go by. That Uber-doober fire farmer is putting a lot of bad guys in prison, thats why he gets what he does. Just what rewards should they give the guy soloing radio missions? what numbers can they apply to a chart to give them a fair reward structure? Other than "he got a bigger piece of cake than I did" ps: Try the all illusion ITF, its a blast.
  3. I dont really care about reward per hour. they can put time gates that stop you after you have earned x amount but that wouldnt be much fun. Should everyone stop and wait for the guy street sweeping or maybe the guy that is switching back and forth to netfix to catch up? If I kill 2 minions and an LT and you do the same we should get the same reward. If I go afk to chat with my wife, should you have to stop playing too? the only real fair way is to just reward us when we defeat enemies, not run a time clock operation.

You can design characters resistant to just about anything in the game(other than hami) If I build a character and stick to the opponents I am specialized to defeat, is it cheating? or is it playing smart? Is a kill all ITF exploiting anything? we are talking rewards. Kill x and get y. Do we penalize smart players now?
  5. its an activity in the game. We keep seeing people tell us that farming has disproportionate rewards and that all playstyles should reward equally. Farmers get rewarded for defeating enemies, nothing else.
  6. how do you balance risk? strip all IO's off at the door to make everyones defenses equal? Is a farmer at less risk than a capped brute doing a +4 MLTF? do they just nerf all content you dont like?
  7. the rewards for rp'ing are nerfed by pretty much everything. Farming has good rewards because you are defeating a lot of enemies. Run a ITF and you can do the same. you are rewarded x inf and y xp for each minion, Lt and boss. Do you suggest that they should intentionally under reward one playstyle so that you dont feel bad? It boils down to the fact that farmers kill 500 enemies in the time you kill 100, and you think that this is unfair. Farmers are actually getting less already, but they are so much more productive that it appears they are making more. Adding a timer on enemy defeats wouldnt go over very well, there is no real way to normalize kill rates.

I have a question. the xp nerf incoming, evidently a bug, does it only effect AE? things have been going great for 2 or so years now, would it hurt to leave it? is this something the devs are rock solid on? I have never seen AE as mandatory, I prefer to level my toons in TFs. I am not a fan of the agro change as it will interfere with me soloing dr q tfs. I really dont care how long it takes you to level to 50, I just want others to pay me the same courtesy. I have farmed a little, not a huge fan of it, but I have zero problem with it.
  9. There is no real need to come here and whine about people giving feedback. The devs decided based on what people said, and people do have the right to give feedback with out your permission. Maybe we can discuss the decisions, not other peoples whining.
  10. Has the idea of having the open world 2xp be different? make it 2.5 xp and add a hp buff with it?

  12. either we can agro more than 17 or not. dont give us the worst of both worlds. Let us pull the whole room maybe time to remove the damage caps on nukes. If we can take damage from more than 17, shouldnt they take damage from from us?
  13. Solution in search of a problem. AE is part of the game. there is no point in forcing people out of AE.
  14. so you are saying that by inconveniencing players they are improving the game? maybe have people have to watch a 30 second commercial before they can zone we can make the game even more awesome?
  15. I can not take granite and have a good build that actually kills stuff. Or I can slot up granite and die of boredom before I kill things. thats the choice. Ive mained a stoner for many years. good with a team to help with the dps, but not so fun otherwise. the combat tp is the least of it. the -damage and - recharge hurt a lot more. I didnt say get rid of the penalties, lower them some would help.

You are better off not taking granite, using those slots in other powers(2 more for stone skin ) and using IOs to get you to cap. now you get better protection with none of the disadvantages. and you have an additional power pick to use. and you dont have to worry about excessive recharge to make up for granite.
  17. how much of that good is being transferred to stone skin, making granite not worth taking. making you use some of those slots on other powers to keep the same levels. I havent built one, but what will be the cost in slots, will granite be not worth taking? Lots of people are looking at scrappers with stone, how will it effect the people using stone tanks? edit: 3 def / 3 res will not cap anything on granite except for smashing/lethal on live it puts you at 31% def on half of the categories. the other half are zero I built one on test and it will be worth it to not slot granite other than as mule slots and use IOs to toughen up your non granite build. waste of a t9.
  18. you can get cap protection from other armors that doesnt have the disadvantages. do they need the same downsides?
  19. Granite still needs at least some of the disadvantages removed. If it is just to be a mule, its doesnt deserve such disadvantages.
  20. This might come out wrong, but why have a t9 that you dont want people to take? Back in I7 stone tanks were the toughest, but paid a price for that. Now, anyone can get those stats and not pay a price. Which is why very few actually run stone tanks. I could see them removing the -damage from granite. the other disadvantages are bad enough to make running out of granite worthwhile, while not leaving granite as a worthless appendage.
  21. They could lower some of the disadvantages. other sets can hit cap easily that dont get kneecapped.

  23. Back during live, at the meet and greets, they sometimes gave out account wide costume codes for freak show bosses/ dark ring mistresses and I think some others. Could we have these on P2W as an inf sink? 2-5 million per costume? the RP community would probably like it and people would spend a lot of inf on it.

  25. I am loving what i see so far, some good feedback and responsiveness to that feedback. Cant wait for this to go live.
