    Currently in big teams there is no need for a tank. Just brings doms or trollers and you are fine. Make some mobs immune to holds and agro on anyone that tries to hold them, like was done to healers in Katie Hannon. That way you need tanks or brutes. Or if you want to play the holy trinity, you could always go play a game that already forces that.

    People dont sit out MSRs because of incarnates. There are any number of sets that are suboptimal for that content, yet they are present in almost every raid.

    I would become upset if they nerfed incarnates to be itrial only. If you want to define challenge this way, challenge yourself. Let others set their own difficulty rating. That was always one of the huge strengths of this game.

    trick or treat?? that is a few random mobs, nothing tougher than a boss. It has to scale from level 1 to level 50. They cant buff them to satisfy you without completely breaking the tot experience for level 10s. bad choice of a measuring stick. make a new difficulty level, ultra badass or something. +6 mobs

    My level 23 blaster in striga is not running at elevated difficulty solo. But the additional damage taken would definitely kill her faster.

    Changes like that would pretty much kill a blasters chance of soloing. The greater time to kill mobs would ensure death.

    A non IO'd blaster will not be doing that. Since we balance around SO's, it really isnt even part of the conversation.

    maybe we should just make everyone have single target melee attacks? that will make you earn it.. nerf single target holds? make agro control only single target? That doesnt sound like a game I would want to play.

    I tanked recluse on a fire/em blaster. I used flight over a light pole but it worked......

    so your saying tanks should get more buffing. they did come in dead last

    That isnt anywhere even close to what the game is balanced around. If you can run that. more power to ya, but the game should not be balanced around this. You have less damage than the blaster and he has less holds and no mez protection. Why would anyone bring a blaster if a dom could kill just as fast with much less risk?

    lets see, Im frozen in place by the hold and you are still fighting. Pets properly set up can be incredible. Plants have a very good pet for example. Sustains are not anywhere near as good as mez protection.

    thats cool. as long as we can see what they are balancing against, not just "numbers too much, snip them down". I agree tw is too good, I dont have one but I tend to pick sets by the elusive metric "fun", not by which one is "best". its why i have never been forced to take a power set because "everyone says its best"

    Look at stone. Granite has so many disadvantages and other sets can be just as tough. take away some of the disadvantages and it will not unbalance things.

    blasters have no defense. glass canons need to retain being a canon. Dominators have holds, which act as defense. Blaster damage should be superior.

    if you dont compare different sets(performance, not popularity) you arent balancing anything. I watched the swtor devs kneecap classes to make them meet an internal performance metric that did not take content into account. It didnt work well.

    no, actually. never played it. will it be an EM scale "nuke it till it glows and then nuke it a bit more" nerf or simply tuning a power down that is over performing?

    I dont think they are asking for the patch just information on the possible direction of the next patch. Are we getting sentient artichoke pets or not? Inquiring minds want to know.

    no, not heirlooms. actual 2x xp. There are some level ranges where leveling here becomes sorta annoying in this game, but not much. Not like wow.
