Solarverse

Flight used to have a loop that played while in flight and moving, it's no longer there that I can detect. Was it removed or is this some result of a bug after a patch? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know, sounds like deleting the data folder was coincidence. I relaunched the Homecoming a few times as well, so who knows. It works now though, so no biggie on that. It might have helped had I restarted the PC possibly? In any case, all is well, thank you.

Hey there, @Michiyo. I just installed your mod installer, installed the mods I wanted but for some reason they have not done anything that I can tell. I have checked the path, the path to the Homecoming File is correct, I have checked the Data folder and there is nothing there either. I am going to try and delete the Data folder all together and see if perhaps that wasn't something, even though it's empty. Will update shortly. Edit: So they look like they are going to the assets folder, is that right? Second Edit: After deleting the Data folder (as the directions say) even though it was empty, that set the path correct. So my mistake...user error. Thanks for the mod installer, Michiyo. 🙂

I just watched the first video with your stalker. It seems to me you could increase your DPS greatly if you weren't lagging so insanely bad. Not sure what numbers you were pulling, but I am betting they could have been much better with a steady frame rate.

Culture differences of each server...I thought about answering, but then I thought better. There is enough damn divide in this world, I don't want to take any part of creating divide in this game by pointing out differences. I'm sure you didn't mean the question in this way, but I know humans, and humans love tribalizing, so I'll keep what I know of the servers to myself. Just know this, there is something for everyone on every server, despite the "differences."

No point in a CoH 2. They would just screw it up.

Yeah, it's nice to get the one word names, but using two words can help shape the character a bit more. I am so right there with you, Tech. ☺️

My main is Energy Blast and I play him at least once any time I log in. I have never been asked if I slot KB to KD and even in the times of the old before that existed, I learned extremely fast to aim my KB toward a corner or the wall where the Tank resided, if that were not possible I stuck to hammering the Highest Ranked NPC to lowest in Single Target. In my experience, nobody says a word. I guess they wait and see how I play then say nothing once they see how. Then again, 95% of the time, I run my own teams, so maybe my point of view is a bit moot.

Energy Blast is the only power in game that has never seen a nerf or a buff. To the best of my memory, Energy is the same today as it was upon release.

I can think up of some ways. Give all NPC's PBAoE auto hit Endurance Drain. Give all NPC's Phase. Give all NPC's PBAoE Fear. Give all NPC's 0 resists to knock back. No player will want to play Melee ever again. That'll fix'em once and or all.

No, I found the character in my long list that had the name, not the naming policy, heh. However, I went ahead and did a quick google search and found this. It's Policy #25

I did cover the part where if you kick somebody for it. It's a no win situation for the team leader. Keep in mind, this isn't exactly extremely common or anything, but it does happen on occasion. I would simply like to see s synergy happen to KB that not only makes it tolerable for nonKB players, but even welcomed. The real question is, can it be done, and would the KB players enjoy the new KB mechanic if it were implemented.

Here is the problem with that... It comes down to this, "You play your way, I'll play mine." Except that when a KB player plays their way, I can't play my way. One always negates the other. KD players do not affect KB players at all. My targets fall flat on their butt which still leaves them grouped up so that your AoE still hits. Yours on the other hand is not anywhere near as courteous as the KB player's powers unless you play your KB characters tactfully. And let's be honest here, tactful KB players are not even close to being the norm.

What I think I did, was remaking certain characters, but wasn't sure what I wanted to permanently name them yet...I think. Hell, who knows. All is well though. I did lose a few of my character names, but nothing I was too upset about since I have never had problems with names. I lost Drown, Police Drone, Nightrat, Aphotic, Hiss, Multiverse, Mirror and Oil Man. So I simply changed Oil Man to Oilstain, Police Drone to Police Drone 2099, Nightrat to Night Rat, Aphotic to Aphotic Fog, Hiss to Hissing Fang, Multiverse to Anotherverse, Mirror to Mirrorverse and Drown to Seaverse. I lost a few others as well, but after reading all this, I actually lost a lot, lol. More than I realized. But I pulled through okay. I call it a good recovery, heh.

Scratch that, found it, not sure what in the hell I did before I quit, but looks like I created a bunch of doubles and added a number 1 to the end of them. Have no clue why. It's called getting old I suppose.

Last I read, level 50s were immune. Apparently that is no longer true since I lost the name United States. So what's the new rule now?
