  1. It's a thread title change by a GM not a developer. Lighten up.
  2. That's a bold assumption that so many people would leave at the AE being nuked in such a fashion.
  3. Nemu is after my own heart.
  4. Damnit, Nemu. I was trying to protect you.
  5. Idk man, I'm not a dev. I just find the whole idea of some inner puppet masters as touted by you and others to be baffling or weird.
  6. Both require proof and/or evidence thereof. Neither is factual until something actually substantial is shown. Both are opinions, and yet have somehow been touted as fact. EDIT; to be clear i mean the inner circle as if its some big bad thing that's pulling shadow strings as claimed by a few folks.
  7. A badge for participating in testing? Eh. That'd cause its own uproar I feel. There's no real inner circle from my view. It's devs and then the rest of us. There's a wide swathe of testers, and it's just a matter of either perfecting (or nearly perfecting) the idea or walking it back to the drawing board. Obviously, some ideas get scrapped or attacked from a new angle entirely. The whole inner circle stuff screams "EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET ME!" level of wild. Sure, some people have maybe built up a rapport with the devs but it's not like there's some super secret cabal influencing where HC goes. Polls, to me, are one of the worst ideas. I just do not see any good in allowing a community to drive a private server that much. I think using them to gauge opinions is fine, but full blown "where should we put our resources." is not what should be done for a volunteer team. If we were paying them I might agree, but we don't. Now, weighing community voices vs dev's goals? Sure, that works. A roadmap isn't...the greatest idea because there's things that get scrapped all the time. Prior pages had some stuff scrapped and even this one had a Major Change walked back. It's not really something they should commit to if some ideas get pushed back or need more time on the drawing board. Otherwise, an idea might not work out entirely no matter how its approached. These aren't inherently bad ideas, but they just would not work in this environment in my opinion. EDIT towards Arcane; There's a few people vocal about nuking the AE, but people tend to forget how split down the middle this whole debate/debacle is.
  8. I'm getting popular. The down thumbs only make me stronger.
  9. Rebirth has the Guardian and changes, but it tries to keep it live-like in what it does I think - think "these are our motives behind x changes." Thunderspy is "lets spin the wheel and see what we get." in terms of changes, but that is how it looks from the outside. It does sound like it also incorporates the "as close to Live as we think we can get." angle, but eh.
  10. I mean, I'm not the one going "Just look around and you'll see I'm right." I'll entertain the conspiracy theory for one post - where is the actual proof that the devs have some sort of inner cabal for changes? Don't say the Gold Standard Discord because that's...one huge cabal if so. An open invite cabal at that. Strange. Symphony Control? New powersets have a history of not coming from the forums. I point at Electrical Affinity. AE changes? The community is split down the middle on it and the biggest one was walked back. Sonic changes? Eh, they have done power changes before. Some that remain contested on if they were good or not. Sheathed weapons have been asked for since live. New HM TF + New incarnate Arc + New repeatables? Woah, more content! Or is it the fact that the devs haven't implemented things you want?
  11. It's a conspiracy theory that the devs only listen to a few specific people, but they're proven wrong at every turn. Trying to emulate Alex Jones is not a good look for you, Excraft
  12. Never. Speedruns for life.
  13. I'd love to see more league-intended content, though in a matter of instanced (i.e itrials and Cathedral of Pain) vs non-instanced (Hamidon, MSR even if MSR has an instanced version) I think both should be a capstone of a Page/Issue. More iTrials would be great.
  14. Close on the number. Powerhouse/Booper/Player One (I think) are our power devs. Fautline is a little of many things. Naomi is Costumes/Bases Cobalt & Caretaker are story/content. N6 is the code wrangler. (There's probably a better way to describe it but shh) Zanshin is...someone.
  15. Mmm, no. It would be a monumental undertaking that would be a net loss in my armchair developer opinion.
  16. You can experience ITF at 35, it doesn't constitute as endgame. CoH doesn't have too much at fifty at this time. A handful of TFs, hard mode ASF (and eventually ITF), iTrials, and Hamidon. The MSR you can go to at any level. I supposed Master of badge runs are 50 only too. I'm against the idea, but I can't particularly put to why. I just dislike instant 50s for PVE on a server with an actual population.
  17. Somewhat related, but I find what has happened in P4 Feedback Threads to be rather hilarious - the whole idea that things in P4 were not "productive" or this whole idea of listening to the community. All because x powerset wasn't buffed or Wind Control wasn't part of Page 4 (coming with the implication that it was a set the devs were working on/wanted to work on, usually.)
  18. You made me hungry, Lumi. Fuck you. Not the most up to date list, given Piece is no longer part of it. Caretaker & Cobalt do story/content, Booper/P1/Powerhouse do powers and a bit more. Faultine is everything. Naomi is Costumes/Emotes.
  19. Yes. Built off the back of the Vet badges from live's sub service IIRC.
  20. I mean, players can offer nice ideas just as much as they can offer really odd ones. But don't let my opinion dissuade you. I'm just of a very particular opinion is all.
  21. What seems "easy" to add may not be as easy as it looks given HC is for quality over quantity. Even if they do load Pages with a lot of nifty things. As it should be, really. This is their server.
  22. Veteran experience rewards have been returned to AE for Level 50's. As from the patch notes, in case no one wants to scroll all the way down.
  23. I like this idea, if only to open more opportunities for PVP to be jumped into.
