The shitpost title aside: I've had some really quick ideas for task forces/story arcs at 50. These aren't horribly fleshed out to the very last detail. These are just ideas and I'm not even remotely suggesting these go through without serious work. I'll add more ideas for level 50 content as I get them. Note: Not Incarnate-level stuff, don't worry. BLUE/HERO Aftermath (Story Arc, 45-50) Contact: Positron? New Contact entirely? Enemies: Can be any 45-50 group, or all/most of them! Reward; 30 - 50 Reward Merits, B A D G E S. The world has seen its fair share of conflicts - The Rikti War, The Praetorian War, any numerous schemes by Nemesis, and more. The world has been chugging along despite all the damage done. However, the aftermath of Praetoria's fall left untold amount of damage across the world. [CONTACT NAME HERE] has sent out a request for some help with some unfortunate consequences of the war. Gist of this arc is just an assortment of missions stopping bad guys. Throw in some Nemesis, some Malta, and more. A relatively loose arc just there to tell a small story of a post-War world and villains being up to no good. Advanced version of this arc has some harder-to-do ideas like new NPCs for Malta (reason: Battle Maiden's NANOMACHINES, SON nanites) and other stuff relating to that. Multiverse Troubles (Task Force, 45-50) Contact; Maria Jenkins, Unai Kemen, Tina McIntyre, or someone new. Enemies; Rularuu, 5th Column, assortment of others. Go wild. Reward; 50 - 80 merits Multiverse shenanigans are afoot. Requiem, ever the schemer, is up to something. Trail after him across various worlds - including the Shadow Shard for some reason. General idea is just a task force using Portal Corps as the base for going around the multiverse. Can re-introduce worlds used in missions from Unai, Maria, and Tina. Re-use AVs but as different universe versions. I'm staring at Bile and Dreck. Can even utilize upgrading lower level/mid-level enemies and create a 45-50 variant of them if time/effort permits. Final battle is an AV gauntlet or just punching Requiem in the face. Over and over. Shard Rumble (Task Force, 45-50) Contact; Anyone from the Shadow Shard. New contact? idk Enemies; Rularuu, Crey, Circle of Thorns, etc. Reward; 70-100 merits just for the fact its a Shadow Shard TF. Rularuu. Rularuu. Jokes aside, who doesn't like punching eyeballs and beating up those weird bat-like Natterlings? Something something reprisal of ideas from most of the Shard TFs. Some dimensional shenanigans, some magical rituals afoot, and end it with a reprisal of Lanaruu, Faathim (as an ally), and Ruladak. Basically just giving people a real task force and not the abomination that is the Augustine one. Heck, bring the Rula-shin up to 50 somehow and use them too. RED Coming soon to a TV/Radio near you. Red Widow's Gambit (Story Arc/Strike Force? 45-50) Contact: Red Widow Enemies: Longbow, Crey (for some reason), Vindicators, Freedom Phalanx Reward: 45-60 merits A simple arc. Red Widow wants to gather items she needs to help further Recluse's goals. Which also requires punching Positron in the face, breaking Penelope Yin's knees, and bullying Swan for her clothing choice. Jokes aside, its a relatively quick story arc/task force that is just a giant beat-em-up at the end. Conference, Electric Boogaloo (Story Arc/Strike Force, 45-50) Contact: Viridian or someone new? Enemies: Tsoo, Nemesis, Crey, Carnival of Shadows, Council, etc. EVERYONE, GET IN HERE. Reward: 30-50 merits A re-try at the conference arc from Viridian, but this time Lord Recluse is prepared for shenanigans and so are Arachnos. While convincing villains to meet with Lord Recluse, you can also engage in thieving shenanigans. Another beat-em-up at the end. Or y'know, maybe you end up fighting Arachnos because chaos. NEUTRAL Yuck, neutral.

I'm not quite sure that fits the theme that this caters to, but you're more than welcome to show up. -
Impervium, what's the official stance of a bio linking to F-List via something like /c/pagenamehere For context, F-List is a website where (among other things) you can make a character kink 'sheet'. Is that reportable? I forget if this has been said before. Obviously you have to actually know what /c/pagename here / "has a /c/" refers to buuut curious people are curious. Sometimes not for the better.

The unfortunate part of The Coming Storm plot is that this thread shows it's a divisive issue. There'd also be a lot to do just on the side of getting the story concluded - given that the Battalion were this alien conglomerate, it'd mean new npcs and that brings all sorts of new things to make/add. Then you add in the Incarnate side, and the Incarnate system is divisive as well. To truly conclude it, you'd need more stuff for Incarnates (given that's where the big stuff would happen + Battalion's goals) and that'd cause people to gripe about the system even more. Plus people going 'ugh this story', and so on. As well as people saying they believe the dev time is better spent elsewhere. Which is fair and fine - we're all entitled to our opinions. The whole thing of it being cringe is a little laughable - it was just getting past 2010, of course stuff was 'cringe'. MMORPGs often miss the mark on story-telling. Often, but not always. Personally speaking, HC might be better off doing their own thing. Unless they suddenly hire on amazing people and boost their team of devs massively so.

That reminded me! Due to the amount of groups, we are not doing banners. I apologize to those who sent me theirs already - but I evaluated the interest. I am going to trust people to not mess with other groups and so on. Once your group picks a booth/desk, stick to that one. Some groups will probably rotate in and out as the night goes on. There will also be the wide open outside. We're getting closer to the day! -

Both groups will be added. Please note that there are limited amount of booths inside, and we are above 13 groups. That being said, there's plenty of space outside and I'm sure some groups might rotate through the night. -

One last thing - if you are able to, I will need an SG banner for each group that wants to have a booth. Deadline is the day of. PM them to me on the forums or on Discord (Pendragon#1992) If you can show which colors were picked exactly, that helps too! -

An update for everyone - the base and how it will work. Please feel free to check out center-18852 on your own time! We are going to be adjusting to the fact we are doing this in a base rather than the Wharf. Please be aware that this is a learning experience for myself - to weigh base vs the Wharf. Each supergroup will form their own League / Group with their representatives, and invite anyone who approaches to learn more. What this will do is allow people to switch roleplay to team / league chat. This will keep local chat from flooding and allow people to learn more in a controlled manner. Due to the growing interest, this will feed into the other asks/rules. Local chat should be saved for anything except recruiting - especially once the base starts filling up. If need be, we will ask that large groups set up outside the center building. No supergroup is to dual box an ad bot or otherwise inflate their presence Please do not use an ad bot or anything similar. This is not an event for that. Given the time this is also being hosted, it is also being asked that groups don't bring their entire supergroup. Bases have limited spaces on top of the fact that the base does have actual limited space for the convention center. If your supergroup shows with double digits, perhaps dial that back based on attendance. As said above, if push comes to shove we will ask that larger groups set up outside the building. Contests will be held at the end of the night This will happen around 10PM Eastern give or take. This will allow folks 3 hours or so to interact, to recruit, and to generally enjoy the event. These will be held back to back or in some manner similar. The themes remain the same unless needing to change. If that does happen it will be announced. Otherwise, please be mindful of others. I am still working out how villain groups will be handled. If any villains/villain groups want to show up, please let me know via here, forum DMs, or in-game. Thanks to a PM, I forgot to mention something; The base aforementioned in my last update is NOT the actual Joker's Wild base. It's another place that Chainz/Mark has built for these style of events. I apologize for leaving this out! -

After having a lot of "bwuh" days since I last posted here, I've come back to bring more details. The second annual CoR Supergroup Recruitment Faire shall be held on April 10th starting at 6PM Central / 7PM Eastern At this point, I am accepting donations for the prize pool - noting that I am at least holding at least two Costume Contests + A Trivia Contest like last time. This will change depending on the prize pool and how coordination turns out. I do need to put a reminder that this oriented towards Comic Book Superheroes/Supervillains at this time. As it turns out, Chainz of Joker's Wild is hosting a Club/Bar/other examples here themed event of a similar style. Big shout out to Chainz for doing that, and I hope his event goes well. Rules and such will come soon. If you have an SG that wants/is going to show up, please make sure to let me know or post here. Donations can go to Shadeknight (Global name is the same) in-game or you can poke me to figure out a good time for hand-off if it needs/is easier to hand off in-game while I am online. At this time, I am also looking for Co-judges and Coordinators to help me run the event and be a part of the group that runs this event anuallly.
