Look for Freedom Corps vendors blueside, Arachnos quartermasters redside, and Praetorian Clockwork quartermasters goldside. OR, you can shop in the stores matched to origin in most high-level zones. They'll be highlighted on your map, Magic Store, Tech Store, etc.

Actually, you all may be on to something. Maybe we just need to switch to a new damage type so as to get Dev attention to Things That Need To Be Fixed. A Psionic-based farm sounds nice. We can call it Sharecropping - Another Word for Debt Farming. Oh. Right. No debt from AE. My idea's already been nerfed!

Need costumer help plz - steampunk time traveling detective

I've found that the Steampunk and Gunslinger bits, along with the jacket options, work well for such characters. Keep in mind that they trend toward a lot of brown (leather, bronze metals, and the like) so using a light tan, rust, or beige base for your color palette is a good starting point. Surprisingly, the Retro Sci-Fi caps work fairly well as Steampunk if colored right. Don't forget the goggles (up or down) and the belt with the bustle skirt. -
Sadly, this is a widespread social trend. We have two choices - do as Vanden says and use them as cheap shots for comedic value (cruel), or simply ignore them (also cruel, but less so than the first option.) The first option of course paints those responding as bullies no matter how well-intentioned the ribbing is meant, and the other option is branded as 'cancel culture' because those with 'fringe' viewpoints never get the attention they seek and see THAT as a concerted effort to silence them. Downvote button is below and to the right.

By "low level" what are you referring to? Most Tanker sets don't get all the shiny toggles until the mid 20's, some even later than that. If you want mass buffage at those levels (or less) then you need to be on a team that has characters with team-buff-capable powersets.

Time for the Civics lesson. First Amendment Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. That's the whole thing. Deconstructed: Congress = The US Congress. Not private individuals, or companies, or any other entity. Shall make no law = just what it says. No laws of the following issues will ever be passed, and any laws passed that come close will be challenged and likely struck. Respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof = No law that either promotes a religious view or practice OR prohibits a religious view or practice. Congress is NOT to be involved in religious matters. Ever. Or abridging the freedom of Speech, or of the Press = Speaking out or writing something in an article will never be patently illegal. That's the entire prohibition supporting "Free Speech". The GOVERNMENT will never be able to censor, redact, abridge, edit, or prosecute based on expressed facts or opinion. Or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances = Protesting, holding meetings, circulating petitions, calling one's reps on the phone will never be deemed illegal as long as it's done "peaceably", i.e. no rioting or violence. Loud chanting and singing is fine. Signs trolling the 'opposition' are fine. Threats to life and property are right out. Notice that in the above, there is nothing that says you are protected from a response, only that the response cannot be "The Government" shutting you up. If you say something inflammatory, expect to be called out on it. If you write something libelous, expect to be called into court to either prove the veracity or be held accountable for damage (this is what happened to Mr. Jones, who is now facing nearly a billion dollars in renumeration expense because he decided to call grieving families 'paid actors' for an event he asserted never happened.) Homework assignment: Compare and contrast "government" censorship with corporate moderation. Class dismissed.

Okay. I can go with that. And yeah, I'm old, I still get ... irritated... at certain modern idioms that are in wide usage, which "back in MY day" would have earned a rap across the knuckles with a ruler. Don't get me started on the "would" contortionism in roleplay. "So and so WOULD do X." Put simply, if the action is complex enough that someone could indeed interrupt it, just make it simpler, rather than express a conditional. But yet people bend themselves in knots trying to make their own actions somehow 'optional'. "No. Try Not. Do, or do not. There is no try."

I think that was the point, for a relatively powerful +Regen aura (I say 'relatively' because it could be better) it would be OP if it followed you around. Nearly all of the persistent +Regen aura powers are rooted to where they're cast. Maintenance Drone is an odd implementation, because while it specifically exists to follow you and heal your henchmen (something we've all wanted as MM players) it sacrifices its own health to do so, and cannot be healed. And yes, I tried. I fed mine a green Insp, and it gladly took it... no heal. Floating in Triage Beacon (mm, bacon!) did nothing for it. Of course now I'm expecting the Ninjas set to get a kunoichi that uses Pain Domination powers to keep the shinobi topped off, and then dies tragically. It's a Hong Kong movie trope, so why not? 😛

A point of semantics. I know this is in HEAVY use, and it's probably me being old and yelling at clouds, but: "Godmodding" is the WRONG TERM. God-MODE'ing. As in God Mode, wherein you assert you are the deity of the domain with all the powers to match. MODDING is changing the game, adding stuff, and the like. This is very much a pet peeve. If you're going to call someone on using God Mode, please don't use "GodModding", as it just sounds stupid. Thank you, and carry on.

Basically they allow you to determine where (other than the base portal) aggressors can spawn. Base defenders have always been able to use the standard medical rez rings. Remember those "prison" maps wherein if you're faceplanted anywhere in the map, you don't go to hospital, but instead to a small cell with TP dampening and an armored door to punch your way through? theoretically you could set up something like that on your base map.

This is the -BAMF!- way.

Please don't be obtuse here. Inspirations are finite, once you've used them, they're gone unless you somehow luck out on getting drops that replace them. Incarnate abilities you have to work for. Speedrunning an ITF to farm merits? Sure thing, it's right up there with rerunning Dreck a few gazillion times back in the day. As long as you didn't actually finish it, and reset the mish, you could level up against endless Freakshow for weeks. And yes, Posi came out vehemently against such things also. The one difference between all of the examples given, and running a Fire Farm setup, is that when you run AE content, you're not only tuning your character for the expected mission, but you're also tuning the mission to your character. You're in control of not only what powers and enhancements you have, but also what you expect to face. And yes, since Architect dropped, this has been a thing. And yes, Posi threatened to rip the whole thing out, root and branch, when he found out that the AE was being used to farm. He got talked down, because there were a lot of people using the AE system to actually tell stories and present content that wasn't farm related. I can't say he was entirely wrong, though.

As long as the kids don't look like creepy weird mini-me versions of the adults, like in Cyberpunk 2077...

Nice setup! I also have a Tartarus, and the only issue I noted with the use of the thumb-rocker and 'space' key is that I have a problem with holding the space key down whilst simultaneously maneuvering the rocker. So I can jump STRAIGHT UP but as soon as I try to maneuver, i'm on the way back down. So instead I'm using four keys on the pad itself as a WASD movement set, which sacrifices those keys for anything else. I'm using the thumbrocker as a target switch (previous/next/closest/defeated) instead of movement. But, can't beat the ergos of the thing, it's really nicely designed.

Why would the usage of "exploit" be in poor form? It's taking advantage of a weakness in a specific powerset, specifically building both targets AND protagonists so that risk is minimized and rewards are maximized. The fact that "Fire Farm" is indeed a thing is indicative that the exploit exists. "Max your Fire resistance and none of the mobs on this map can hurt you." That's the entire mechanic. How is this not an exploit?

Last I checked, the Maintenance Drone replaced the Heal Robot power in the Robotics primary. Triage Beacon is in the Traps Secondary. It's basically a stationary Regen aura, like Tree of Life or those green CoT crystals. Not only different abilities, but different powersets. As a Robots/Traps MM, I can understand how they could be blended together into one build, but unless you want to move a Robots power to the Traps set? It doesn't really jell.

I don't think you're alone. To the contrary, this seems to be quite the vocal portion of the population, altho' I sincerely doubt they have majority status in player numbers. But then again, that's how things get noticed in this day and age. The ones who shout the loudest get addressed, even if the point being shouted about is at the very fringes. Meanwhile, the majority just go along to get along, they keep their heads down, as you pointed out. I just think that the overarching message we ARE seeing from the AFK/Farm/PL groups, is that IF by some mechanic they were all chased off to greener pastures, that Homecoming would collapse into a black hole and vanish. That somehow THEY are the ones keeping this game going, and they state in the same breath that the Devs are 'against them' and that 'there's some conspiracy to neuter them'. Considering all of the ways people enjoy this game, I think that's the height (or the depths) of hubris. ONE powerset gets adjusted, and it's a conspiracy? Well gee, if that particular powerset was the PL flavor of the month, and someone noticed it was out of balance and corrected it, it's not a targeted attack, it's exactly what it says on the tin, an adjustment. The fact that it WAS out of balance in the first place is of course the reason people flocked to it as a farm build... because out of all of the powersets in the game, that one had a hole that you could drive a truck through. Fix that hole, and "OMG FIRE FARMS NERFED!" and out come the pitchforks and torches. It's not that they're clamoring to change other's gameplay, it's that they're saying Listen To Us Or Your Game Goes Away. And I for one really don't like it when not just my gameplay but my entire gaming experience is being held hostage by someone else, regardless of their reasons. I don't want the HC staff to shut farming down, that's a perfectly valid mode of play if you enjoy it. But I'll not be sympathetic to someone stomping their feet and throwing a tantrum because their favorite exploit got closed. And yes, I used the word "Exploit" on purpose.
