  1. Adding to the stone party I have I made this character with an idea from the coh subreddit which was to use random rolls to create a character. I ended up with Natural > F > Stalker > EM > Stone. The color scheme was randomly generated also, just happened to end up with Captain Planet colors, lol. Whenever I go to choose a power on levelup I roll for power set, then number each available power and roll for it. It's been super fun so far.
  2. It can't be that hard to use one of the crystal models from DE right? Could be an animation issue, but it seems like they have regular rigging.
  3. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we enjoyed the ego boost from your likes on the old posts. : ) Looking forward to seeing what you come up with after all that research!
  4. Head over to the Costume Exchange Warehouse if you'd like to see all 31 costumes in this set:
  5. Some basic medieval-fantasy designs for your modification. Inspired by nothing in particular . . . you can't prove it. YJ'sMedievalFantasyCoHCostumePack.zip
  6. Been thinking recently that a "costume library" thread would be cool, so thanks for starting one. Hopefully I'll be posting some in the next few days. I have a set of basic medieval/fantasy and golden age costumes I've been working on.
  7. My unorthodox beam rifler has a magical gun, capable of firing blood-stealing and other enchanted ammunition, made by Old West monster hunters. It was never meant to fall into the hands of a vampire. . . oops. The devious Nosferapew:
  8. Dormammu Rulaaru, I've come to bargain! I think you get a pass 😉
  9. Love it, they look great! As a rule I never* take any direct ripoffs past the character creator. I thought Dr. Horrible was required watching for the superhero nerd badge. *-ish

  11. How you gonna just challenge me out in the open like this?
  12. Fantastic! Using those sport pieces to simulate a sort of tights version of plate armor is really smart. Here is a potato quality pic of my union jack char I made a while back. Yours is much better 🙂
  13. I've made almost exclusively heroes in my time playing CoX so I figured I'd try my hand at villains by making nemeses for my favorite characters. Guardian of primal magic vs ancient alchemist that left his humanity behind in the search for immortality by any and all means. Nerdy mortician turned super strong/invulnerable after an industrial accident vs deathless lich in want of a new world order Engineer colleagues work on a power armor together. They split when one decides to play it safe with a clean power supply and reactive interface, while the other opts for nuclear power and a fully integrated experimental AI. Quantum physicist invents a suit that can create rapid fire micro-wormholes simulating super speed and being in multiple places at once vs enigmatic time-traveling arms dealer. Uncannily evenly matched in intellect and battle tactics. . . High schooler and self-styled witch accidentally possessed by a simple-minded, immensely powerful demon vs unhinged Machiavellian angel looking to claim the demon's power for "the glory of God and mankind."
  14. Thanks for the alternate costume idea for my jack-o-lantern toon
  15. My attempt to come up with a cryptic old-timey nursery rhyme about a monster that comes to gobble up naughty people : )
  16. Love the look. Head Sparkles do an ok job staying inside the helmet and Wisps eyes are pretty good, but neither jive well with the imperial defense visor.
  17. Only problem there is you lose the laser sights that really make the costume
  18. A ghost with two giant semi auto pistols is a strange sight, but totally rad
  19. FF and Sonic should be the tankiest support sets, imo. That means self buffing, perhaps with adjusted numbers. FF could be unique in that it offers some decent offensive options, especially for Controllers and MMs, and it should be the undisputed king of enemy placement - an active set for those who want to go deep into it. I don't think we need to add absorb or anything, Def creep is a separate issue to tackle. Not sure any of my ideas violate cottage rule, but here's my take anyway. 1. Personal Force Field - Pop-up tray - Force Burst - PBAoE KD, -Def (Enhancable). Detoggles PFF. Long cooldown. Gives it a universal use for everyone that is forced to take it, and a smooth transition into combat from absorbing an alpha strike. 2. Deflection Shield - Make it PBAoE with a large radius (do the same with the sonic counterparts, maybe cold and thermal too). 3. Force Bolt - Make it two-stage damage, original minor damage then delayed damage. Bonus damage if foe is affected by Detention Field. 4. Insulation Shield - Make it PBAoE, large radius. 5. Detention Field - Ally/Enemy Toggle. Foe Capture, -Max HP (persists when detoggled). Auto detoggle after x seconds. Ally - ally's attacks have chance to immobilize + deal bonus damage. Surrounding foes are slowed with a chance of small mag immob. All affected foes are vulnerable to extra damage by Force Bolt, Repulsion Field, and Repulsion Bomb. Similar to the Grav control combo bonus. 6. Dispersion Bubble - Fine enough as-is. 7. Repulsion Field - Player location pet summon (like trip mine), can be cast in the air, has HP bar, is targetable and buffable (Ally version of Detention Field can be cast on it). Alternative would be the normal pet summon with full pet controls, but that might be a little extra. Either way I feel it's essential that you should be able to position it to stay in the air. AoE KB aura (can be enhanced to KD) minor delayed damage to affected foes. Extra damage to foes affected by Detention Field. 8. Repulsion Bomb - AoE KU. Two-stage damage like Force Bolt. Bonus damage to foes affected by Detention Field. 9. Force Bubble - Make the bubble smaller.
  20. The two color assassin pattern is very clever
