Theft of Essence is not good in Dark Regen. Try to slam it into Siphon Life if you are Dark Dark. Dark Regen (and really Siphon Life) are both short recharge. But you should be holding Dark Regen in Reserve for Trouble and you should be spamming Siphon Life. Great attack.

for me it is a significant investment in time and change of play structure to earn. but you may be selling Winter packs you bought two years ago for 10mil a pop for 24 mil a pop. That would make it a lot easier.

A bit. Most of my leisure time is in City of Villains. I do work full time and keep healthy with some other stuff though. Us old vampires have to keep moving or we freeze up. (thats when they put you in a box and say you are in torpor. really just thinking, why you put me in a dam box?

For a greedy organized little vampire like me it is not. If you read through this thread you will see a significant portion of people who log into the game to PLAY the game. With their friends, to relax. Not to work. The people in this thread posting that they do not want to meta game just to be able to have fun....they represent a voting block of real players who FEEL that way. That is completely valid. It is a game. It is fun. it is free. we do it to enjoy life. Well, i also get to kidnap Paragon citizens to give to Dr Vahzilok. Work can be fun. Basically there does need to be a balance to remain true to game theory. But the Winter pack sales, and the subsequent abuse (over enthusiastic and smart use?) of such has lopsided that a bit. I offered up a solution. Lowering Winter packs to 10 Mil permanent, and Hero packs to 5-7. Of course the current Dev staff follow my wisdom diligently. look for that in the next patch....

New toon (dark dark corr) for 2023 to solo all Redside contacts. Have done all 1-14, working at a steady pace on 15-20 today. Also starting the 4 DiBs I need to keep those tasty buffs until level 30. Have badged all winter except lady winter and still need 60 winter horde. Not sure what level lady winter event is. It may open this afternoon when i roll 20-24 content. Or it may be a next winter badge. But I roll easy mode. Well, soloing Redside on a Corruptor is not super difficult, but it is a walk in the park compared to what some of you maniacs do 😆

they only track (and that is a generous F-ing term) the last 5. common moves a lot. so if someone (like me) is crafting and bidding 5k per prices are "rising" if no one is bulk purchasing long term bidders bidding 10 inf get filled "prices are dropping"

I actually really tried to help the one person who could not get to Faultline. I posted the base entry macro fro the cosmic transport base. Five minutes (while I patiently explained the use if the macro near a base portals) later they indicated they did not know how to copy paste anything. So i told them to type the relevant portion to enter base passcode. Ans said explicitly what that portion was. But they somehow went from Steel to Perez Park. I gave up at that point. The team was struggling and my efforts were futile. I went and started doing my part to get the TF done. I seriously try to help on every TF. I am not a speed player and not a great player, but I am not bad if you got nothing else lol.

Running a LOT of 50 content brings big rewards. Having a bad week? There will be a good week down the line. WEEK. Not hour, not day. If you are talking about a LOT of 50 content you are talking 20+ hours (or 30..40...) and yes there can be dry stretches. But even during the dry stretches you are picking up merits, emp merits, Hami-Os, and raw inf. Grind baby grind!

I was just on two separate TFs (posted in general yesterday) that were a crap show. I did not "chew people out" I thought. I did start asking people to act like a team once or twice. They deserved to be chewed out. These were level 8-15 TFs. A 50 not knowing what they are doing and just being carried? Great until those doing the carrying are overwhelmed or have to take time to help someone get to a mission door.

Thanks. I know that is right. I let myself nit do it because it was so egregious I knew it would get reported. But I should have as well. I looked over (I was next to Ms belt o’ freedom) and they were indeed about a four foot tall version of their muse. I did not report them. I feel protective of the community but I hate politics. (To me this is political) I also figured they were probably already reported on on their way to mini generic 1755362 What say you? Should I have snitched?

I have started doing all redside content on a dark dark. Really enjoying myself. The best part is starting to dive into each power and figure out how to use them most advantageously. I may just become competent on one of the things. I have always built (and played) Corr as Blasters lopsided cousin. After doing all red 1-9 contacts/content I have begun to realize how i have wasted the power they do have. Power? Time to have fun!!!
