This. I started on a dead server. Liberty. Coming over from PS2 console I had no idea. But it requires a cadre of good players to do competent runs. Granted I get on some epically incompetent PUG runs on Excelsior. But I PUG a LOT. If you want to badge? If you want to level? If you want to MMORPG? You need a busier server. I have strictly avoided calling out one server or another. That said I have had a weird experience on another Homecoming server. Not creepy....just...aggressive. It was NOT Excelsior. Worst I have experienced on Excelsior is some bone headed stupidity. My kind of peeps.

dark/dark is better on brute than any other melee. in my opinion. needs to be a tank or brute to take advantage of resist armor caps. dark is a crappier tank armor due to agro management issues with non suppressed stealth, and the damage is better on a Brute. wish it had the larger aoe, but still better on a brute.

Oh OnlyFans lol. I never see that stuff on Excelsior. I would talk some Snarky smack down to anyone stupid enough to try to get me to pay to see bathing suit pics lol. omfg. I play on Excelsior. I have seen some salty comments once in a while. But honestly pretty rarely. In LFG and General it rarely even starts to get racy. I myself post a few Snarky (Reg TM, pat pend) comments whenever someone feeds me a line. And I have been known to drop an off color "dad joke" punchline, but nothing you wouldnt hear on TV after 8 pm. I do not know what an "OF acct" is. I looked a general search right know and google thinks I want an accounting education. I cannot remember the last time I saw a link posted in public channels. I have seen some horrid (and criminal!) stuff in WoW during the off times I play every year or two. I report each of those incidents. There is a line. I am here for immersive gaming, not predatory criminal behavior. I watch Dateline Chris Hansen when i want to laugh about that. Squidbillies did a great episode on that as well. In short I do not know what server you are referring to. If it was Excelsior I apologize for my stupid compatriots. I will harm them the first chance I get! But I just do not see it there. And i play regular, watch the general channels a bit while I play. A slow server may be the answer. Or you may try a busy server like Excelsior that is pretty self policing. In my opinion. I had a pen and paper Champions Clone of Wolverine called Badger. (did not realize back then badging was a thing...) I would go Claws Willpower Scrapper. Willpower is outshone by Invul on a Brute. Just is at high end builds. But on a Scrapper? I do not run them much but I am thinking Willpower has to be sweet there. And of course damage. Just build to be a little ball of hate no one want within 8 feet of them. email yourself a few rezzes for the ugly fights lol.

male characters to get a robe or lower body full plain long skirt option. how the hell do i make a "magic" wizard without a robe? because the kilt ain't cutting it.

one weird trick to build Dom without combat. Target with your snipe. start to snipe. move! you get Dom credit for attacking but never fire. burns a ton of endurance but that Dom bar goes right up.

During the Rage Crash there are tons of effective things to do. 1) Reposition yourself 2) Reposition your enemies (Taunt, pull, etc) 3) Inspiration mgt. (combine, use, etc...) 4) Use non damaging powers. Hand Clap (not popular, but some use it) and other such things, including refresh hasten, incarnate powers 5) As stated above the P2W powers are not affected by damage mods. been a while since I ran SS but I think the Incarnate Nuke is not affected by Rage crash? 6) Look at your map. (Should prob do this before 1 above, but... Where are you? Where is your team? 7) Refresh Rage. I do not double stack. Therefore I refresh during the crash. 8.) Use team chat. time to communicate with this PUG, at least one seems drunk/crazy. encourage them to do something stupid 9) I bet you can think of something i did not 10) is those ten seconds up yet?

I almost always play a theme. For me undead would be an easy decision except Grave Knights and Lich are a little too old world for me. If they were all zombies? Sweet. Demons I can make work. Evil is timeless. Which is better in game? I always thought it was Demons but I heard undead got a decent boost. Paired with Dark. Of course.

This is my "joke" elec blaster. It was inspired by watching an Elec Blaster in a farm (I was Bruting) who could keep damage up and 99% time not get killed. Because they could bubble and run when agro got wild. Then i got frustrated trying to build Sentinels that could deal damage.... and I remembered that Elec blaster. The concept is the thing has 3 O Crap! buttons. Including one that will get it thru a Rikti map or Rularuu map unscathed. High ranged Defense and fully ranged. Will out damage any Sentinel. Played correctly....just as survivable. Falls short of most Blasters damage due to the build constraints. But its a nasty piece of work. I remember on live an old original Positron. Then, like now, I mostly solo Red. But there I was. Not really knowing it and in a PUG. It went long. Shock. People started to drop. We got to the last mission with 5. 2 dropped as it was 'useless' 3 of us went at it for a while. I tried to finish it solo. On a Blaster. I just couldn't kite the EB away from his army. AAARRRGGHhhhh

I got on to a Sharkhead SF last night that was a crapshow. The first mission we were 27 fighting 32 Longbow to get Barracuda. Then we were 27 going to Agincourt where the LB are 30+. And only two of us could find Agincourt. I left….

I will post what i come up with tomorrow. Just checked forecast and I am definitely off. Will not be very helpful in the level 10 stuff but by 15 the strength should start to help and by 20 definitely. So many good tips in this thread. Who knew the Dam Purp 53% was nerfed before the exemplar %? Such an odd “extra rule”. But then boosting the Purp dual enhancers get a little extra! Definitely be fun to see how much nitrous the little engine will take.

you can stop the rebuild but i am 99.9% sure the game knows what enhancer levels you are in reality

yeah, i am looking at a corruptor, dark dark. so damage is important. knocking them down is key. and, almost as important, being accurate and having debuffs up so they politely wait their turn. due to weather i will prob be off wed and will dig into mids then.

planning it is part of the fun for me. i love to overbuild why i love mids, and this game. but gold is not always that easy. especially as you are exemp down in the gold zones

i will do that too! in case it was not clear i am dead lazy. i was trying to get you guys to do my math for me in fact. right now i am doing it kitchen table style. the ideas are flowing and i will pop mids open today or tomorrow. but yes, i will be doing it at -1, badges are same. with temp p2w powers, and as enhanced as i can prop up the thing.

everything gets degraded, at 15 by a lot lol. i am thinking 5 slot purple or sup winter and then adding a hami dam or a 53 i/o generic dam. possibly using sup ato on lesser damaging powers for set bonuses

all enhancement values get squished. you cant even put low levels in a 50. if you could...they would get squished Purple and winter "damage" sets get squished to about +60% damage at 15 using a full set. drop/switch one non damage from the set with an I/O dam 50 or a hami and get 75-80%
