  1. Here is how I think of it: Scrappers base crit chance is 5% against minions & 10% above that. One of their ATOs increases this to 7.5% & 15% respectively. Without your primary attacks, the 2 Jounin are like stalkers. They'll crit from hidden, placate, & smoke bomb. With the 9% from mm attacks you keep the stalker crits while all 5 ninja (Genin & Jounin) also get scrapper crits. They won't crit against Lts and his as often as a Scrapper, & they shouldn't. However, pets at 9% out crit scrappers against the majority of NPCs. Factor in the lower hp of minions and these crits can help clear mobs. Regarding FF, I don't know if it can take you over the recharge cap or 400%. If the proc can't get you over the limit then Regen & Recovery aura can't be reduced below 125s recharge (if I'm doing the math right).
  2. Although I was asking about 1 specific proc, I do think the patch notes do a good job of calling out where certain enhancement types no longer go into pets, but rather into the buff powers. I do think this is a significant improvement for sets like beasts, demons, and thugs especially. Being able to slot resistance/heal/defense/tohit without using pet slots helps a lot. In the case of beasts heal slots in Tame Beasts buffs both wolves & lions.
  3. Thanks. That's what I was hoping would happen. If this is working on Enforcers I imagine Wolves will also work.
  4. I have a question that I do not know how to test. With the move of +To Hit Enh type from the pets to the buff powers how would Guassian's proc work? While there may be others, off the top of my head I can think of Thugs and Beasts; and they both have different situations. Thugs: Enforcers have Tactics, so on Live as I understand it the BU Proc checks on the 10-second interval like it does for player toons. (I could be wrong though). With the Beta changes, would the BU proc still work as described above, or would it only check when the Buff is applied? Beasts: Wolves have Howl, and I had not considered the BU proc for them before, but I would imagine on live it would check every time they used Howl (again, I could be wrong). With the Beta changes, would the BU proc still work as described above, or would it only check when the Buff is applied? Again, I'm not sure how I would test for this. However, if the Beta changes are changing the way things work on Live I figured it was worth bringing up.
  5. Honestly, fixing how Assault Radial works with pets is something I hope to see "Soon".
  6. I have not had a chance to test it yet, but it wasn't listed. Once I check, if this is not working I will share. Thanks for the response.
  7. Regarding the Street Cred mechanic I have a request: Much like the change to Necro attacks, please also include an icon notifier to let people know when an attack will generate Street Cred.
  8. Sometimes builds just nag at you and you can't let them be. Well, in this case I made some tweaks, so now I'm also curious which version people think is better. I dropped the Psychic Scream and added Super Speed, moving those slots over to Build Up for a full Gaussian's. Because AoE was now higher, I pulled one BoZ out of SJ and put it in SS to keep Ranged over 45%. Slots in BU made more sense than slots in an attack I'd rarely use. Having SJ and SS is not new. So, thoughts? |MBD;25040;1564;2088;BASE64;| |G89hERWcQAAtDnhzLuQFS4VoYHP+Ou7rqBSdHdHkyA+oWmYtotdwTeWrf0TyINc+YMZ| |uwq9ZdLr66tgw1l3AWvSn+v5P65W1ZxnfsFQ7ovZpgh4BC3D796O1VxsZISPj1G6Sgt| |KV/UsFJkk4ge2WL45sywpYIQlTZ1CLzKl9o/591xoH7F3qImsypl0HXRP7GngIBkP0x| |5xQLDJKRc9vhczZ0svIvwVhXNYg+TUth/WueVw7oYe0uCUoLhJoN/KFxhbnA27N3emY| |jhpSzW053hKpe27r9UOJPXhORMOakiFna96lN9TPbJMkM9CtEN7Ie7VP7bliIP6KXzt| |4JrJVS6qkkgMuqGydIexMPRTYzLG3kDxBunvusuPGQ6DDa27Tx61dtw48Q+vWQRkrOK| |unFQ5EKeulDUzp25TiJp3sL019hXryJRHt1UbHWWSva80lBN6cWO04NZ4+5D0L0U6bH| |T5bXG/fFRaXZas5rZx1MVN49w6qbtZq3/OrSm0HAlYX9UolM3scjOtK3OLnY5RaSsD8| |Ons1rTGHaSyAuW/Vm8ZDRosF3wqDev7vSSoFksav52JzBjc3r/a+r99bRYXPex8Ad1h| |Dh84P8yP/ESpzYgx7cUHndSf3ujOqead680/uuI53E2JDn/EU0hjwDPk59BXPIQ2AB+| |QX0LfZBm77l+pvVxZFlZ5TNzuEweuQlU2WoJI4T1qeb+bwqGUoJ+Ljm6aMhCQjAYqfa| |WpgpKDm//E3l/m8KoKC9BHXXYpN1knmXGJ76uhr8iKuQgeGMs+rvZ6qQjvhd7iCoEID| |ZV0FWMcxTZv2ROdRDqktbMRKccOoda90IPxLNrFxB0dyQY9eIQEe4/jxdU22BWNvetQ| |34U5Zp3genXllClsSXzYH28nv4mSZBKp7E1REpVhlmGDAKPI7CG8Q3oEC1F2BEuGi45| |hgY+k6YW/0StEF6wjPIKlahkFyZ+UzDphm34tkC6uAMei3sA5hUKcaWMgld1Gp16oQO| |P086XBuajs/4bfzFN09NvPzykUGPNw2BI1x9c3JprvmreSJSr5ZKccxqAbhTffABTxF| |AygvivcAVWSK7bH9F/zFPF5BQjqYsuTOih6TN3NJlEHwrQw7EboQriFTAHnF1FvTT5X| |GMXKvZfRX8WyGjRUfmU7GpbgURvEywkA+XJ2H76UwugmewfrVNJrtJh92VH9mMIRXCG| |+AceRnyA6UjhbKAdPByvakkpxOmwWGO8lwPnyfkxdrfdYer0NCxXYPGst4KrbCSbGGQ| |RIn7xjDjbcXZ3JhDPoipENIACageDbEipfIv7XyEC7fMxbqzrv72g/XJL6FguLMeVgb| |EkPOF4Ty4hgT4APl2p+4Cj5Zr89jqsXAiMMUa+BF8yDujDIonpERu4T37kmOuEseQm1| |6qmVVwBi0r6wOUYGykT+Dl1uqBHrjW5unXyH40/LMaJ3fC4bwBtkVfFb1F6xkB0pntX| |o0UOt3K0m67oSvtjc8DUwEuLFs+GUsWS930AxCGIkVakEk+MlZB1EFD5mTEq5ZjGJas| |d6CBR43ziKLGj3n70UrtuOrTY7yEtuqa60A3MKJZVroTG9OALtmVZ3rNNhpDiW/Rtnz| |mNB5ctczml+AC8X9Pcr0zvqa2Rgwfvips2r6FEiJQrUIycygr6gOURyogCgAaiCzgOL| |pzdJlvON6tpLuQWB6pWcza0C7oyUU8glR8p6OawUKMBybMbPcdN37iY1VdUOM5TDMKZ| |RriwP7R7yw1S5T6D2NVOBkwMaboGFnQBPG5HI53NIE8GYyrG3Sw4YHB3JLyOyGnSfzF| |JrDMN0jPyYh85PYw2XG9maC6uqnXKTMksVSfL4GP5RUxomhWDY9iQ32NyjOECvXf0Hu| |gIVcBf8vQ93Ch9xK0Cpg+tM3prJiKNZuiRVLCPHF2H+WYZ1inGRud1YkrIOife1Ypq9| |DL8FdadXt+Iw+uzgWyzoZUEP1U2jpEnAw3TPc09POfwzM28z/J0dEkbqtRI6IDZODs4| |gmE+Pl8RS7JQLtspJPBJ336hzGhe3PtvO8fmVfyrUCtPBIHq0TB++E/kZU3KwIfwFNB| |+cZMZi9Aw==|
  9. I was looking to dust off an older BA/Shield toon of mine, but I knew it would need a respec so I was looking at what other's have done when I found this thread. This had a lot in common with the direction I was headed, so it gave me some good ideas to refine. However, as I was going I recalled one of my bigger challenges with this toon is that it is an endurance hog. With that in mind, here is my take on a BA/Shield that doesn't have Maneuvers, 45%+ positionals, and Harmonic Mind to help with Endurance a bit. Currently the build has Psychic Scream, but that is mostly for the last few Ranged Def. That power could be replaced with Gash (Mako set), Psionic Nexus (Expedient Reinforcement), or Mental Blast (Thunderstrike). I figured a ranged AoE (even a cone) added more than another single target ranged or melee. In all honesty, this is one area where I'm definitely interested in other's ideas. If there are any tweaks or holes or suggestions, I'm all ears. I look forward to any input. Thanks! |MBD;24700;1519;2028;BASE64;| |G3tgACwK7AbtDp2wpQV85yzhX5ciXXumW6j89NwmTHu9Ahn8E+7JJ3MTfrpcqHx01yM| |JQFF6Sn6z6HT19af6VdWurD5NuUUzuhoR+02MjoAFePbvR2uvNjIyMlLthpWOzN/bnR| |QYJOEErle+OLItK0BPJEydQS3+rNo3KheXGgfsXesiazHaGgMrOWNAWKL8WLiKRa5S0| |fNbH1urhSEj3xbMuLoB5de08LpzmdeAekgrWjCKtwQ+jT3R9cX5gHfJShyqIdXUzvcC| |XPei1u2HknrwWogGvSk5OrvyJb1B9bOsSZJ7010Q3sDv1R518I6BeKt+TghCZJcWHk+| |4kqMeqGz9vcO+NKDA0R17M9kn2PQgXfY+NAU6tBY1r7ir69HBy7R+TpWxSGX1tEiDVc| |p6aQMu6cdMcZNO/S/N+jL1jEcncrsOOmfR3txSmyB0J1bbzlozmHxwJtrnwPTV7HpPH| |iqunq0WtnzWtczwrk1V3TJf+5xWHM0mAlYPP7nxX2Jsx9I+ya0IHsbZcgJLWr7U7CYc| |ZusBzH9Ub/rZMlpA8LMwaPB/T3IpkDX49VzsCIebWtz81bfkHlX4gvZR4AvWoA5deM+| |P/A9SZS2M915R0WXduT1Xrmre+d7lhWOP6rUNe8ZzaAPgAekF7BVeQBsCj0gvYW+STb| |io4YK/8eVhUa7Qc9bRDyFpHa+wKRCKw376ur7X06O2IZzIa9/cZRRIGYkwvK6pgUsFN| |f7nn1zh+1QEJfUp1yXFJvsmOJfY5TqGmzyo67DBepZ5tduzNNHO5B2uoKgwgbJUBVhK| |opt27YmuoBJSS9hMVqqbgtr2aEfin7PJxh1sySUtXyUJuXH8/vOashaMQ2nnN8E2DPe| |jC+9MYUvSlw1gO+M7NFktgdzeiNh6NxM2tu4b9sHQo9bUzyCr2oZB9mLldQE5fYX4v+| |EXaSvrgAHsW9mAMsyDIRFy3UtU6mtWSij7POehfOmcvMhy3xKggw74fXJRg3+/JKMJT| |u6da6rb/pG8Uc43Kfk4Ackm2bxHL3AOKFAeDM9RrsgUu2z7D/iLNb+CjDqYi+S+BcMz| |ju5VuICQm3g+GyoyV90EQKEi2/3pp0rnGLm20vbLcO+gjR0PmUOd0UgJjPKnEUbrw4v| |/5R5Ko+rVpN5yZtMwfXLE0fgzjaG8Q3kAJpCeoTsRnVLro+ZkZfukkJyX5QCHOsehgv| |k+JTdrftZB95RQsUuD2zKegi3aGdZfkMXNF8Zwk+3lmS4MYC+VDChJwCQM99bc8ZXk3| |1V5CJevBSfqrrh8X1M1SG6gYDgXbqtz7uh8RqhsjlFgR8ytr7oOOV5v2NOs1WDEYSYa| |hHA/iNtRBsM9NVKX8N49KRAvyZmoLZ61rg4YwProGlCViE36k7T8KPT8JDc3z77I+LN| |zL2ie3hpDeUB3h5zZ+MuY6U5EZ7bhNFBr2Swl6aczudraETgIScB1sSN8JwtXrEwDCs| |hB12awFPyMzIOogkeakxO3LEE2bVhvoQKPJ2dRC/zBy/eyZdv5s01OcSfbqmvNANwiQ| |qRb6Ms3JUJcM4y+eRrSag4Vf8zV/r938oz+Yty/ABcM16/clnfWr5WNh4p/f/4515kL| |5KRQYSGJAfYKNaBKAJVQhUBNJJYw3ENVdRn/hAZbSfdAwNX01afTHgm+98APht98zcU| |kMmgUr6wmq6IDBrD1VAxoSERHbrkRJP30EWJjV90kujhJA19KbxDjhpnMVtxSgRP6Zv| |OHqlZAPnUsiA3edd+Cox5ONJcMPMCadnJinAHRjVDfF9nAyDNpmF++Bl5HofPmghHxu| |ced3urgk7lKdQ2Wl/GVHvyhVAWXH5XL5lx5jf0VSivESo1cyBWwkKoQ/m2nm/Uhzwj2| |zFf87itT3TEUc/+tESOJ/oOx/yzHvsU4CW4vViSsg7LNehfTd2BIcFeutp3foy8otsV| |YOwPeWfxM+oYHOKhLQOfiucuPgYV+6//JkVDkbjuREbGPJDmLZLIQLSd28hn7b+XZX+| |bIBGDtGasq/ogFOw==|
  10. I knew there were reasons, but I also see that on the Sent side people seem to love it for damage so was curious about the logic behind your choice. Thanks for the informative summary.
  11. That 58.68% for the PBAoE is per target healed right? Obviously that is an important slot, that only works on 2 abilities, that 1 of the 2 pets use. This slot also comes at the expense of more common Damage Resist slotting. As you point out above Panacea in pets is best when passive. I was primarily theory crafting to see if I'm understanding how the proc works correctly versus "is this how I would build" it. Even in the /Cold, /FF, /Sonic type examples I think Arcane Ward still makes sense since the player has control of when that is fired off. Thanks for breaking down the specific powers and their respective recharge and proc rate.
  12. How would the Panacea Proc do in "Summon Demons"? Since the Ember Demon has the Thermal single and AoE heal, would the Demon and heal targets benefit from the Proc?
  13. Thanks for the explanation. I misread your statement, so the clarification helped. In a previous build I had 6-slotted Preemptive Optimization so I get that approach to. I'll get this build in place to test out. Thanks again!

    Ninjas

It only has one -tohit in it, but I found the +Res and -Res of Sonic also worked. I have not tried it, but on the +resist front, Thermal might be interesting. Ninja MM attacks give the pets +3% crit chance, each, after they have hit. This bonus lasts for 30 seconds. So, if you keep those in cycle, then you are giving your pets +9% crit chance. This is part of what I would consider on choosing a secondary. Because you want to spend time attacking, you might want to consider less active secondaries. For example, with Sonic (since that is what I'm familiar with), Liquify has a 30 second timer, Clarity 90, 2 toggles, and 2 shields. Easier to mix in some attacks while commanding pets. Plus, Liquify being 30-seconds lets you know when you should re-apply your hit +crits. EDIT: Another thing to note, Train Ninjas gives them around 20% positional Def if you slot for it. More for AoE. Between this, procs, and Maneuvers you can choose sets that aren't pure +Def to create layered protection for them. Increase Density (slotted for Resist) & Transfusion should create somewhat of a layered protection for /Kin, however it still suffers from minimal debuffing.
  15. Again thanks. I did see your comment about using End Mod pieces to maximize recharge. It was this line I was asking about thought "I value the end mod boost the least here because HL is a monster of a rec boost even with no end mod slotting." If you don't think the EndMod component is worth focusing on, is there a Slow approach you would take? There are only 3 slots there, but it's possible to re-slot Life Drain if that's the case. If not Life Drain, Tactics is the other place I could look to free up slots.
  16. Thanks! I implemented most of the changes you mentioned (see below). I moved the Kismet Slot to Fog and used it for Steadfast -KB. This adds in some -KB and 1.5% Recovery. Zombie and 2 attacks adjusted as suggested. Heat Loss, I'm curious what you would put in there as you don't value the +End much. I'm interested in seeing alternatives. Spirit Ward is something I've come to appreciate on /Cold MMs since Froswork isn't always an option. In the past I've taken more Sorcery, including RoP. If Necro attacks weren't key to the Spirits I'd dump Gloom & Dark Blast for Arcane Bolt and RoP. What I didn't see was a better slotting option, so it was kind of a "well, I guess a single Heal IO will do." In order to fix the rule of 5 violation I sapped out the LotG Defense for End/Def Shield Wall. By making the Shield Walls +5s it's a net 0.11% Defense reduction, and ups the Shield Wall set bonuses. I've flagged Benumb for the Provocation, but will hold onto the Acc/Recharge duo I had until that becomes a reality. Again, thanks for the input, that is exactly the type of feedback I was hoping for! 17. I've been tweaking an older toon and looking to get back into it. With that comes a revisit of the build and was hoping to get some input. Since Ice Shields are not improved by Power Boost, I went with Dark Embrace to help create better all-around protection. Scorpion Shield is still on the table though. The attacks have some slots to give them some pop, but not sure if I should tweak it to better serve the specters and/or Dark Embrace. Life Drain is slotted to be a better heal and for set bonuses. Might be better use of those slots. Thanks for any input you might have. 18. I would also add that the changes to Teleport were a great boon to Warshades. With Sunless Mire and Black Dwarf Mire being such key powers for a Warshade, Starless Step and Shadow Slip both help a lot. The first being a quick combat TP into a pack, and the later summoning a pack to you.
  19. I don't know what was causing it, or what has fixed it, but this seems to be working now. Sorry.
  20. My friends and I are working on building our first base. When we respawn into the base, we are not spawning in a room with the medical supplies, or with the main entrance. Is there a way to change this? Or, do you always rez in that one designated area of the map?
