temnix Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Cinco personajes mas from me. Orchery Spoiler Orchery Bio: "From a dimension where things are just a little different." This Bow/Trick Arrow Blaster started with me wanting to make a character dressed in steel chainmail from head to toe. But when monstrous legs came kicking into the picture, there turned out to be no chaimail cover for their thighs, and I chose leather straps instead. That relaxed the boundaries enough for some bright signature trait, which is where the scarlet vest comes in. The outfit is still military overall. A solid-color, simple, long cloak turned out to be necessary to hold the concept together, and because of cropping between them I had to ixnay on a slung bow. The character turned out very sympathetic and one I would actually enjoy playing. Having nothing but the bow to rely on, this sniper would need to show a lot of guile and think fast to prevail. I created the character during the Halloween "event," so all of the brightly lit snapshots had to be taken in the City Hall. Juggling With the bow A close-up. The head is a toned-down Spectrum with Dark Matter eyes - the only way to make eyes that are darker rather than lighter than the background. It also looks like Proton is checking her out. Fishing among bureaucrats I am not going anywhere. Elsewhere in the City Hall: messing with science... Anything new? Back in the big hall. A boom for Cassiopeia Acknowledging reverence We may all be doomed to die, but we can play the air guitar. Enough of this place. I am heading out. How about you? When the "event" finally ended, I thought she deserved a screenshot in clear morning light. And here is her morning bow. Rome Boxing Spoiler Rome Boxing Bio: "Some time in the 2nd century B. C. (before C. became a thing) in the Roman port of Ostia, downsteam the Tiber from Rome, there lived a family of Latin longshoremen, who, regrettably, had no land. Their eldest son, Aemilius Furius, was nicknamed Cestus, "the strap," from an incident at seven when he tore off a piece of leather from his brand-new sandal, wrapped it around the fist and walloped three much older and better-placed boys who taunted him. Upon growing up, the brash and mighty Aemilius sought to join the army to earn a plot of his own, but first connived to sneak into the temple of Jupiter in the city to absorb the martial power of the trophies stockpiled there. The oldest of these arms were Romulus' own spoils. The rest is strange and time-defying, but unlike his two companions, slain by thunderbolts that night, Cestus was cursed to swing for Rome through the ages - on and on and on, even after that has lost any meaning. He has been short of an arm but found another. Just don't ask about the tail." This character has Super Strength with all of the animations set to punching moves (it would be good if villains were also made to use the alternative animations sometimes), and he would develop Fighting, too. Face He has a face plate as well as blue eye shadow. The Banished Pantheon cloud around the head is a bitch to play with. I can't see jack in there. But the idea is incomplete without it, and none of the alternatives quite fit the bill. I can't take the credit for a lot of this character - it began with a random roll that I thought too interesting to pass up. The tail was in there, too, a fun little detail. But I added the cyborg arm and various touches and accents. Side Entering the Vanguard compound Studying medicine at the Vanguard. It must be difficult to hold a pen in those gloves. Fighting: gathered up Send 'em flying! He alternates between Punch, Haymaker and Brawl. The picture above is a good illustration of the use of slight asymmetry here. As usual, a difference in tinting by one tone or similar but not identical gloves, shoulder plates or boots give a charcter a more animated and realistic look. Here the gloves are not quite of the same color. This can be seen on the next picture, where he is training for body-eye coordination. In addition to the gloves, the boots also carry a pattern of different colors. Top and bottom, these tint changes should usually be arranged crosswise, lighter elements diagonally to each other, to avoid having one entire side darker and more vivid and the other lighter and paler. I dare not curse your name, but I can shake a fist at your sky, Jove! To use this character's free tailor session I designed a different body and costume, in which I had a good deal of fun punching out Vahzilok. The shoulder armor is a basic Gladiator, making a contrast to the rest of the clothes. The body built is fairly butch, as always for my martial fighter girls. I aimed at the clothes worn by one of the two Hungarian hookers in a 90s porn video I had seen. They were going down gloriously on a guy in a car in some autumn landscape, and this was the closest I could get to her blouse, skirt and boots. The result here is, in fact, a 90s woman's clothing, which is no wonder: to the extent the realer costume pieces in this game belong to any period, what we see is 90s fashion. Mesh on the legs for nylons. A Smoldering aura at minimum black is mostly invisible and adds physicality. The Lost Kid Made Good Spoiler The Lost Kid Made Good Bio: "Abandoned by her foster parents twelve years ago after her mutation began to manifest, this street urchin grew up in Kings Row knowing only one thing: when you want something, you take it. She has a body like a steel trap and a mind to match. That she has registered with the Paragon City as a hero is a matter of shewd convenience: she knows heroes eventually gather a lot of wealth and influence while those losers trapped in the Rogue Isles have only each other to beat up and the dry tit of Arachnos for sucking. Besides, being a hero is a way for her to flaunt the inhumanity that has made every day of her life a fight among the cruelty and indifference of people. She revels in it now, showing off the spikes concealed in the muscle sacks under her skin, licking her lips with a tongue that is forked and about hand-long and so on." Gliding A fight Running This was also a character unfortunate enough to be born during Halloween. I didn't want her to bang about City Hall, so she went to other places, like the Vanguard compound, and paused there for a while. The pants are stained leather, no belt. I wanted a dirty, grungy appearance - not because such is my gimmick, I don't do gimmicks, but because such is this character. Here is a closer look. And closer still. The eyes are green, but a flashing Beastly Rage or Battle Fury makes them spurt beams of orange. All metal elements are dirty steel and the skin is green-splotched. The forearms are strong with the Large glove model and the shoulders broad, but the figure is slim and visually long-legged because of the pants. Maybe I should make the legs a little longer, actually. Farther into the Vanguard: a facedown. One armlet. At the lecture I got into the habit of taking my characters to this auditorium. April Hope has been here too. Action resumes: in the sewers Contra Vahzilok She is not too tall. Here comes a spines burst. Time for Hellions (again). These demoniacs have never run into a mutant like this one. Her Brawl is a kick. The spikes carry over into the disguise. The result is not too bad. What an embrace she could give. The Kid's recreations: soccer... ...cramming from three textbooks at once to patch up her knowledge a little... ...and swimming in an inflatable tube. A risky thrill, when spikes may protrude from one's body any second. Bust! Here come the holidays. V is for Vannabe Spoiler V is for Vannabe Architect Bio: "Some people are destined for greater things. Some are not. And some of those who are not persist in trying. When Andrew Phipps was CEO of an important corporation and ruled from a glittering office on top of Steel Canyon, recruiters from the Council courted him. They brought him 5-karat diamond studs and enticing hints of a superman program for the worthy. When Phipps made a mistake and stocks tumbled, the Council's visits became much less frequent, but he had already tasted the promise of leaving humanity behind. He pestered his curators for so long that they at last decided to show him the truth about the Vampyri program, hoping to scare him off. He was stoked about the tanks and the coffins! At last they stated outright that a failure like him had no prospects, nothing, never. Phipps left but absolutely resolved to reach vampyric transcendence by natural means. He would imitate the vampires (from photos the Council had showed), he would invoke all the might of meditation, exercise and right diet!" I wanted a Vampyr look for a character, but when I realized I would never gather enough prismatic aether for an appearance change, I decided to try to reproduce it with available costume parts. That turned out to bring me close, but not quite to the vampires' look, which led to the idea of this hero. Continuing his job as an architect Consulting customers Yours truly By spirulina, dark power is mine! Hah hah hah! Blasting at will from the top of the Pocket D truck Let's compare notes! Never stop! Is this on soon? Oh, coming in 2004. The City Hall is an interesting place. And I'm not ashamed. The goggles come with an orange glow. It's not quite as the vampires' eyes, but it's so close. R of Storms Spoiler R of Storms Bio: "The tremendous power available to R of Storms is of unclear nature. On one hand, he is a messianic eye that self-formed in a deep-space lab, on the other, this human body radiates energy, on the third, his abilities have nothing to do with weather. What does he want? Evidently to spread his stentorian message, the philosophy of dynamism, in this inhabited world and to enjoy experiencing his contrast to it. The reason that he is on the Rogue Isles rather than in Paragon City is just the latter." This character has no connection to V is for Vannabe. That one makes sense, and with this one I was in an antisensible mood. The random generator rolled up most of the figure, the colors and the aura. I had to find him the right kind of pants, put white Bioluminescence on the hands, gave him his companion and necessary details. The powers were Sonic blast and Kinetics. Repel complements him perfectly. On Mercy Island: so much to do! R of Storms, the prophet of dynamism And a START vendor teasing with her thighs. Next: R on Mercy. Up close. He needed a very plain belt. R resting. Under a sycamore tree. Injecting optimism, one syringe at a time. Hear my word! Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden doors! Edited January 6 by temnix 1
Carnifax Posted January 6 Posted January 6 The three new chars I've been levelling since I came back. Had to try the New Hotness with Marine so came up with Manannan mac Lir Storm / Marine corruptor (hadn't tried Storm either). Tried to go for a "celtic god in modern day" vibe about him. To feed my ever growing Corruptor obsession I combined two sets I've got to 50 multiple times but I love : Atlantean Arrow Water Blast & Trick Arrow. To contrast with the other watery hero above tried to go for a "humanoid made of water in a tech suit" vibe, using the Victorian Decor aura to give a "shifting forcefields" look to the costume. Finally I wanted a Shield Tank so went and tried for a clockwork dwarf / Skyrim Dwemer Tech vibe to give Grimli Gearsmasher : Shield / Axe Tank 10 4 My level 50 builds [Bullitt Time : DP/Kin Corruptor] [Carnifax : Ill/Dark Controller] [Kerriae : Plant/Storm Controller] [Echinoderm : Bio/Spines Tank] [Iron Brew : Mace/Rad Brute] [Snookered : Staff/NRG Brute] [iScream : Ice/Ice Scrapper] [Binman : Savage/Shield Stalker] [Modul-8 : Time/Sonic Defender] [Concussion Blast : Fire/NRG Domi] [Orblivion : Dark/Martial Domi] [Mombie : Necro/Nature MM] [Tempore : Water/Time Blaster] [Thermodynamic Flux : Ice/Fire Blaster] [Carni's Online CombatLog Parser Alpha]

temnix Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) His upper half is more interesting than the lower half. And, biostem, Meg Alodon would look better with two Rularuu's Talons in addition to that fist aura. The last four characters from me. Polidass Seud Spoiler Polidass Seud Bio: "In the endless chain of alternate Earths there is one where the world's aristocracies, starting in the 19th century A. D., have successfully implemented an eugenics program. For about ten generations now only the intelligent, beautiful and taleneted have been allowed to grow to adulthood. What of drones, you ask? The bulk of menial labor is distributed between all classes, the aristocrats included, and the rest is left to machines. The planet's population is only around 100 million, concentrated in the Mediterranean, the coasts of North America and a few Asian hubs. Having to live through a series of culls, they are a heartless lot, smart, humorous, light about their own death and others', but stupidity as the plague of life is unknown. Polidass in particular is a fashion designer and freelancing assassin for a few noble houses in New Acadia. She has been sent to this reality to negotiate with the U. S. government for some rare technologies her Earth lacks." This character began from my fascination with the Muscled Bodysuit, the matte version, for skin, especially white. I wanted to combine it with purple and pink and long shorts. The character itself turned out to be not the best choice, a Stalker with Martial Arts and Shield, and in the end I reserved the skin for a future character. The new Polidass became such: I definitely reached a new level with her. The blue skin is probably an influence of Kali. Stiller Still Spoiler Stiller Still Bio: "Far from the madding crowd one man's longing for perfection gave birth to an ideal killer beauty. This lonely programmer, wedged between stacks of canned tuna and cellophane-wrapped rolls of rubber hose in the gloom of the bunker where he prepared for the Apocalypse, put all of his remaining dreams into code. Weeks went by, the light bulb under the ceiling flickered, hummed and dimmed, the generator guzzled gallons and chucked away canisters like a drunk in a death spiral. All the while the keyboard rustled. At last, his creation already on the screen, the man opened his veins, murmurng fainter and fainter an incantation for his life force to be transferred to this ideal. Virtual homunculus? Elemental? Succubus? She had her first thought when he had his last, and the thought was to be free." A Martial Arts/Invulnerability Stalker Running in a base Hijinks One on one Fucking them hard Cinderburn Fascinated by mystery and power Helping the gardeners. Work is furious Relaxing on the Prometheus pond In Perez In a bar Vanguard We applaud the selfless efforts of law enforcement! A little addition for a while. I decided against complicating the dress later. No fear Aerozoe Spoiler Aerozoe Bio: "From city fantasy to urban legends, a sprite that lives somewhere in elevator shafts and on rooftops. Modern or contemporary, we are among you." I wanted a relaxed and loafing getup, nothing stifling or extreme. I have also craved mohawk hair for a long time. She was supposed to levitate at all times, constantly in the air. Hover and eventually Fly would always be on. But I did not reckon on the constant wheeze from Hover and Fly adds its own, a quieter one. They can't be disabled and are a major nuisance. Playing someone who always flies, I also understood the problem with movement in this game: it is impossible to accelerate or decelerate here in a flexible way. Flying is still great, but it feels unnatural and clumsy when it is always at the same speed, except for a moment of Afterburner to get somewhere in a rush. Real flying would be seamless and graceful, slowing and speeding up as needed. Even with this engine that could be implemented, tying an innate deceleration/acceleration to the -/+ buttons, for example. Holding down - could lower speed in increments of 5%, holding down + would restore speed to the maximum. Before she learned to fly: mistress of a snow beast Afterwards And the now-familiar lecture hall. I stop by here after going though the portal at the Atlas station of the Vanguard, right after picking up the exploration badge for the operating table. Here I get another badge, anchoring myself to the Rikti War Zone, and soon afterwards pick up the last at Pocket D and acquire the Long-Range Teleporter. Meanwhile I spend some time learning about the Rikti. With Zoe's 10th-level free tailor session I decided to give a test to one of the costumes I have been preparing for a Carnival of Shadows revamp that I'm going to suggest sometime. This is one of the (animal) Handlers, Carnival minions in the aspect of empathy. Empathy masks are all Masterminds at every level. The minions, Handlers, each summon a wolf and lash away with a whip. They carry looped rope over the shoulder. The new Carnival is very diverse, and for this version of the minion we have a black girl. I put her in my free costume slot and ran around as her. The white skull is where the mask should go. It should not cover the entire face. Then I went for a fanciful costume from scratch. The result was supreme party clothes. I wasn't going to wear them, there is no place cool enough, but they are worth showing all the same. The Mesktop Spoiler The Mesktop Bio: "Did you hear about the power crash in Cairo soon after they installed 7G towers? It was that debacle five years ago when people's smartphones began dialing out to other dimensions, pets sucked the cooling agent from refrigerators and so on. The country's electric and psychic grid turned out to be woefully unprepared for that technological leap. One of the consequences was a reanimation (unexpected, needless to say) of about 130 mummies in the Cairo Museum. Most of those who escaped were poor mindless shamblers, and they were quickly caught and put to the gas torch in the name of the Allah. A crafty one, however, from a dig near the village of Mesktop managed to sneak about an American cargo plane headed for Great Britain. A year later he was in London smoking cigars, reciting Byron and conversing like a gentleman. None of the three countries involved know what to do about "the Mesktop." Each gave him citizenship, but otherwise they have been passing him around like a hot potato." A simple look: a cigar, chains and bandages plus some pale fire. Plus: A more serious demoniac Spoiler I like the Hellions, but they are a kid's idea of demon worshippers (like all the other concepts in this game: of the Nazis, of wizards, of aliens...). After watching "Spellbinder" with the incomparable Kelly Preston I was moved to make someone like one of those insidious Satanists that are everywhere. This could be some assassin for them. The secondary power would be Fiery Aura. Out with the old, in with the new! Edited January 15 by temnix 1
