When a Hellion buys a summoning scroll from a sketchy site on the dark web and mistook "Hekk" as a mere typo, you get "The Girlfriend from Hekk":

And here's my attempt at "Magic Power Armor" - "The Knight Reaver":

I will post a bunch of characters. A few more are coming later. Most of these come with bios, because the appearance and the bio are both parts of the concept. A character is incomplete without a bio. Still, I have a few of these incompletes. Sometimes also a bio can't be written for one reason or another.

Tarzagz of Sunna

Spoiler

The Wrathful Quintessential Tarzagz of Sunna

International Spy

"Sunna was a little fishing and mining village in Rertren, a peninsular land of Luf-Oir, one of the minor dimensions of the multiverse captured and pillaged by troops of Arachnos. Tarzagz, an ordinary man till then, had been away hunting at the time and returned to smoking ruins of his hamlet. He swore revenge, had the priest cover him with magical patterns of strength and invincibility and, his trusty mace slung over, walked into the closest of the portals Arachnos had been keeping open for caravans with loot. There he offered his services to the strange organization of the spider totem, hoping to learn the nature of the enemy and undermine them from within. His secret intention was not appreciated by Longbow, who intercepted the column of trucks as it emerged on Earth near Paragon City and captured everyone on it..."

Tarzagz was my most-played character once and he is still the one I identify with the most, I guess.

Aegelmere

No bio

I only played him a short time, but I like the way his seismic powers work and how they complement his look without being directly derivative from it.

Ellbial the Titaness

Spoiler

Ellbial the Titaness

"Both the Bible and the Qu'ran, which is derived from the Old Testament, say that before humanity God had populated the earth with a race of mighty beings. The story of their eventual destruction for what the Abrahamic religions call pride has parallels to the myth of the Titanomachia in Greece and other tales of the progress of culture where an elder generation of deities, closely tied to the natural world, sometimes its creators, either retires or the younger, more civil gods overthrow it, and humanity is made. The Titans, the Giants, the Jinn (of whom Iblis "the Devil" was one), Tiamat's legions are therefore wiped out or locked away. As it happens, the story is true, and something along these lines has taken place between the dawn of time and its 11 o'clock. Neither destroyed nor caged, the Titans have been exiled from the mortal world. But on occasion these beings, "good" or "evil," may reincarnate in human form with all, or at first some, of their glory and wildness."

Eliza Menken

Spoiler

Eliza Menken

"Born into three derricks on the Texan Red River, Eliza never had to lift a finger to have all her wishes carried out until a fateful night before her fourteenth birthday when a deranged drifter, bitter at John Menken for some wrong only he remembered in the days of his employment, set fire to the rigs. He perished in the act himself, and the Menken fortune was consumed likewise in containing the disaster and settling with his relatives and a swarm of "corporate-fighting" lawyers. Much reduced, the family abandoned their lovely Southern Gothic mansion for a harder life in the suburbs of Houston, where Eliza was exposed to street life and its feral children. She was constantly beaten and harassed until she learned some kicks in a nearby dojo. This was her introduction to the world of athletes, fighters and mercenaries that would become her own. Eventually one of these connections let her in on the existence of a portal to an alternate Earth, where she happily signed up to serve Emperor Cole."

She is one of the characters I don't intend to play. She came out fairly well, though, and I would happily give her away, if there was a system for making gifts of characters. There could be something within the game too: post them with all of their powers and looks, set a price in Influence, even nothing, and let others buy them. It could be called the Talent Agency on the hero side and Human Trafficking for villains. But I don't expect Homecoming ever to get to introducing such original features. If you like her, feel free to copy her or the others, for that matter. I don't mind.

Close also. The pick of the vampire face turned out to be a fortunate choice, though she is not all that vicious. But it is strict.

Lucienne Kerchansky

Spoiler

Lucienne Kerchansky

"The Kheldian entity that chose to offer merging to Lucienne was not only a scientist from the stars but an unconventional member of the species and always looked for mavericks. So did she, a starting private detective. Together they explore the strange possibilities of Radiation and fight crime."

Another one of the characters destined to remain unplayed, here because being a Peacebringer turned out not to be all that interesting. She is out in Ouroboros, in a little cozy plot of nature, looking out at the greater world. And there she is going to remain.

Still dark, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of the club's lower lighting and the dark structure behind him. We now know he blends into darkness. Since this is for purposes of seeing the character, rather than in-game concepts of blending in, why not try a picture where the character is in daylight facing the light source, or something similar?  Maybe try a picture out in the snow of the ski resort?

I can only see the second image but it just looks like a smudge. Zooming in on my iPad reveals that the black stripe to the left of him is a ramp rather than a cape, which duh, but my first impression was “cape weirdness”.

I think you need to take him to Ouroboros and face him into the sun, then crop out everything that’s not him.

I was going through a little bit of burn out and finally came back before spooky season was done. Haven't really made any Halloween themed characters, but did make a character who's backstory involved the hordes of monsters that attack during the season. El Fenix, a doctor who sacrificed himself to save a boy from a pack of monsters. As he lay dying he was met by the Aztec sungod Huitzilopochtli, who offered the doctor another chance at life, if he agreed to become the flame that burned away the dark hordes. He agreed, and El Fenix rose from the ashes. After seeing the supernatural events in Paragon transpire on the news El Fenix made his way to Paragon to see if there was any connection to the supernatural hordes that arrived in his town that fateful day. He's a Thermal/Fire defender, which compared to what I usually like/play should be boring but the character look/theme is a big deal to me.
