Why not create a way to pawn a toon's badges?  Not sell, of course!  It's lore-friendly, right?  I'm sure I saw it in a comic somewhere...

Influence is absurdly easy to come by... I see no reason for this.

I'd be down for this if the badge was collateral to a loan shark and when you didn't pay in a certain time then thugs would come after you to collect.

Maybe for you...  It's not clear that's true for everyone.  (It's certainly not all that easy for me.)

It should be rephrased as "Influence is absurdly easy to grind/farm for," I think.  That's a more reasonable assessment.

Agreed. I spend about 30-40 minutes a day on the market and make quite a bit, but it is grindy and monotonous.
