The gist of this power pool is to provide some basic skills and abilities that would help one survive "out in the wild".  It's intended to be fairly low-key, but useful.  The powers are:

 

1. Survival knife - A simple, minor lethal-damage attack with a short bladed weapon, (would allow use of the 1-handed blade models for customization).

 

2. Basic marksmanship - A basic rifle attack, dealing moderate lethal damage.  Has a chance to deal a minor lethal DoT effect.  Can use the various rifle weapon models for customization.

 

3. Camouflage - A simple stealth power, only it provides a moderate damage and defense buff when you aren't detected.  It would not provide any bonuses once you are detected, however.

 

4.  Poultice - A mixture of medicinal herbs or compounds applied to oneself for the treatment of injury.  A minor HoT effect that provides some resistance to sleep or stun while it is in effect.

 

5. Preparedness - A click power with a long cooldown, which grants moderate damage absorption and a 2-magnitude rating against knockback, hold, stun, and immobilize effects.

No objections.  Though, I think most power pools kinda need 5 powers now.

I was thinking about that.  Maybe have the set use a bayonet-equipped rifle, and have that be the melee attack instead...

Are you thinking invis numbers on camo? Otherwise it seems not so good. Also, the damage from stealth buff may be crossing into stalker territory.

 

My suggestion would be to give it half the stealth of stealth, but only 25% defense suppression rather than 50%.

Well, my idea was more to fulfill a sort of hunting blind or sniper's nest effect.  Maybe it could be a location-based power, where those stepping into it gain stealth?  Maybe it grants a short duration damage buff, while inside of it?  *shrugs*

One of the ninjitsu powers on Sentinels does this exact thing, stealth and a damage bonus from stealth. (also a run and jump speed boost)

So maybe a click power that summons a floating platform that offers +Stealth and +Dmg when on it, disperses when attacked?

I know, but that is a power of fairly limited availability. The proposal would offer that functionality to any player...
