Generator
EDIT: at least got the build into shape for common IOs, next stop is Set Pieces. Also, pay no mind to the choice of Agility for Alpha sliding. That's left over the character in this Mids file was Shield Defense. Hey there, I figured it was time to just jump in and play a Bio Armor character, but I didn't have a build laid out for one. I just opened up an old Stone/Shield Brute's build from 2011 in Mids, unselected Shield Defense and selected Bio Armor for her instead. The result is a mess. I need to reallocate slots, and figure out how to enhance the powers. If someone could help me just set her up with a "common IOs/levelling" setup, that'd be awesome. I just need something that gets me started. Sets and purples and all that can come later. Generator
I started tuning it up and at least got the slots into a shape that (hopefully) makes a lick of sense. I'm hoping this'll help give an idea of where I'm going and maybe spur some feedback. Thanks!
Sovera
I am not familiar with Stone Melee but I do have a few /Bio builds you could try to use as a template (try to reach 40% defense, use Barrier for the last 5%). Simply pick what stone powers you want and replace the slotting. - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds. Alright, the /Bio side is somewhat solid with defense to 40% and Barrier providing the last 5%. For content lower than level 45 it does not really matter since things are usually ran at +0. You get extra AoEs to help and I tried to maximize endurance recovery but it might still be a bit short if you solo since Stone Melee is hungry. In groups it hardly matters since Ageless is so common someone is going to pop it and you'll get its benefit. Just try to put the same slotting in the stone powers to keep the 40% defense. And then perhaps google a bit what are the good powers of Stone Melee you want. Heh, the short answer is "As many as I can get!" 😄 As I mentioned in my OP, this is an adaptation of a character from my Live-era gameplay, and on live she got to 50 handily. Hell, I even use Hurl Boulder for my ranged attack instead of Laser Beam Eyes, because nothing says fun like pulling a big blue crystal out of the ground and flinging it at an enemy! In all seriousness, thanks for your help. Have a great day.
Generator
Hey @Sovera, I want to thank you for the build suggestion. Using yours as a template, I put a build of my own together. Not as tough as yours, Defense on mine only gets to mid/high-30s, but that's enough for my purposes. Again, I really appreciate the peek behind the curtain. Later on.
