SarelFox Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Taking any damaging incarnate dot while having the Siren's Call (AOE Sleep) power makes the power trigger the dot, waking all the guys up. This is exactly not why I took this power. Can that be made immune, please, to Interface dots? Or interface in general? 2

Have seen a reference to "clarion" which is a word used to describe sound. Now if you are using any sleep power and an attack of any kind, it's kinda of a given. Personally never liked it, trigger happy teammates are really counter counter productive. "Farming is just more fun in my opinion, beating up hordes of angry cosplayers...." - Coyotedancer
aethereal Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Sirens song, I believe. It's a big cone sleep in sonic blast.
Sif Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Does the same problem exist for every sleep power with the DoTing reactive interfaces? That definitely sounds like an unfortunate behavior. I wonder what mechanism it uses to determine what's an "attack" to determine when to apply the DoT... can TP Foe trigger the DoT? I tried doing a little digging but didn't figure out the mechanism 😵

I tried doing a little digging but didn't figure out the mechanism 😵 Every sleep which does damage, which is most of them. It's definitely very unfortunate. The interface procs are global procs which add their effects to most/all attacks that can slot damage enhancements. Outrider_01 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 After having looked at it, I think it might of been an error with the player's assumption to pick an auto proc with damage instead of a debuuff. Sleep is Sleep, regardless and that is how it works. Interface adds an auto proc to attacks (brawl included? I don't know much about incarnates, to much alt itis before 50) Your best bet is to either drop the Siren's song sticking with attacks (frees up for another power choice) or pick up the pure debuff aspect like Reactive Total Core Conversion with even more -damage resistance; you don't always have to "WTFPWNBBQ!" total damage the character except by choice.
