I don't know a good way to implement it, and it's not a really serious suggestion anyway, but I think having a badge series for making the wrong choice would be funny. The badges would be something like 'Confused', 'Misguided', 'Clueless', 'Lost', and 'No Sense of Direction' for increasing numbers of times you entered a zone for a mission, where the zone has multiple transport locations, and you pick one that isn't the closest to the the mission.

It would need to have protections against gaming the count -- only the first time you enter the zone after receiving the mission, etc. -- but it would be a silly goal for people to go after.

Well the Badges for spending X time Held / Confused / Slept kinda already open the door for "Under-Achievements" as a thing.  🙂

For the specific issue you're talking about though... depends.  If you ding me for going to IP South instead of IP North, I'm fine with what.

If you ding me for actually travelling the city and not using the base teleport macro, I'll activate Grumpy Man mode and snarl at the darn kids these days that should get off my lawn and appreciate travelling the city like back in my day when we had to use the Green Line or the Orange Line for monorails, and it wasn't all just one line, and we LIKED it that way, you durn Whippersnappers!

As I originally envisioned it, it would have only been for zones that had two tram stations, but I realized that most zones had multiple regular entrances. Whether base teleport drop locations are included would have to be decided if this was implemented.

Eh.

It's one thing if you could deliberately choose, but most of the time you don't *know* that a mission is (say) in the north of IP, or which side of steel. And what about those mission doors in the middle?

Plus, what if you deliberately wanted to (say) hit Wentworths in South Steel even though your mission was up north?

While I don't mind the idea... eh.

That's why I said it was a silly proposal; it's something that you essentially have no control over, so it's a gauge of your luck. Going in blind, did you pick the right entry?
