Using Savage Melee for the first time-thoughts/suggestions?

I have a Savage/Bio and it is fun. Quick hitting attacks which works well with Bio's offensive adaption. IMO shred is skippable on all Savage ATs because of the low DPA and Hemorrhage is best on a stalker. The key to Savage Leap is procs to maintain its damage while in close range and boost the damage even more from range. Here is the build I am using.

Thanks for posting your build.  I've been playing around with a build that focuses more on resists, with supplemental defense and recharge.  Any thoughts on this?  Would it be better to just go for the defense and not worry about resists as much, since I'll be running offensive adaptation?

I've got multiple incarnates for if i need to do serious tanking (barrier and musculature, working on clarion), but set up like this he is my Smash/Lethal farmer who can do any content i feel like.  Very fun to play unlike my rad/fire brute who just sits there unplayed.

The level of an Enhancement is also relevant if you go to a lower level for OBO or TFs etc.

The savage leap procs are there because they have a 77-90% chance to proc in that power as long as no other recharge is slotted. It makes savage leap a beast. 

 

For exemplaring, just use attuned IOs.
