The original intent was for people to use the geyser system to travel the zone.  I've never fully learned it though, because most of my characters have some sort of flight.

 

This would be working much better if it were better represented on the minimaps, I think...

A great Arachnos Shardtober to all who conquered the Shadow Shard with me!

 

Here are our themes for November:

  • 2 Nov - “House of Illusions” - Dr. Kane’s House of Horror (4-person teams, 15+, meet in Pocket D) - Illusion powers, Halloween costumes
    • This is a short one, so we could potentially run it a couple extra times or run ToT or something after.
  • 9 Nov - “Snow Crash” - Citadel's Children (Citadel, Level 25-30) - tech-based powers (e.g., Devices, Traps, Bots) - Bring your dystopian cyber/tech costumes!
  • 16 Nov - “Tricorn Triforms” - Pirates of the Skies (Silver Mantis, Level 20-25) - All Peacebringers, pirate costumes
  • 23 Nov - “Disco Forever” - The Fire and the Flames (Mortimer Kal, Level 20-40) (Note: Unlock required for leader) - Disco/dancing costumes, Skittle ATs (Variety Act)
  • 30 Nov (Thanksgiving weekend) - no theme, since a lot of us end up with family obligations.  For those who want to roll anyway, the WSTs are Market Crash (Ada Wellington, Level 40-50), The Kheldian War (Moonfire, Level 23-28), and Temple of the Waters (Operative Renault, Level 25-30), in rotation order.

It was a really fun month doing Shardtober together. Thank you again for coordinating the whole thing and keeping it going.

The November themes look great! Thank you for creating those for us. Looking forward to wrapping up this year's Halloween event next weekend with you all. I have one illusion toon to bring for next week's Kane trial, Winter Mirage - Illusion/Cold Controller. I'll have some other toons parked in Pocket D if we do multiple runs.

Hi @FrauleinMental, thanks for putting up the next round of themes. They sound great, although I will likely miss a few in november as we are out of town for at least 2 weekends.

 

For next week I plan to bring Colonel Mindbender (Ill/Kin Controller) in his best Nazi Zombi look!

I would be up for running Dr Kane twice or so with different toons and teams, and also like the idea of ToTing afterwards with you guys.

 

I am also happy to lead a Market Crash or two if anybody wants to play on thanksgiving.

We're celebrating Thanksgiving early since my parents are leaving before it, so I will probably be around for it with nothing to do and a Market Crash sounds fun! I'd be down for that. Should we do a just for fun harvest/pilgrim theme or something?

I hope to be able to join this november as well, though this weekend will be iffy. But if I make it, will run Misterya (Illusion-Traps Controller), will see what halloween costumes I make for them.

 

For November 9, will bring Double Blaster (Dual Pistol/Devices Blaster). For the 16th will bring Star Gal (Peacebringer). For the 23rd can change if needed but might bring Purple Enchantress (Dark/dark Blaster). And for the 30th I should be able to join, so will see when that comes around if there's a theme.

Yeah, why not? Let's see who signs up, keep it open AT- and Powerset-wise, will be fun to just make it with that costume theme.

This sounds fun! To my recollection, Theme Team has never ever met on a Thursday before! I might still have my Broccoli Casserole recipe costume from a previous U.S. Thanksgiving theme!

We can always keep it to Saturday like usual. I think Frau was referring to the Saturday and not the Thursday anyway as some folks go out of town to visit family and such. But I'm also down if we want to do it on that Thursday instead.

Yes, I might have misunderstood. I think it was @Bananiac who mentioned Thanksgiving and I misunderstood that he meant the actual day of Thanksgiving!
