Optimal slotting of Dreadfull Wail

Im sure there isnt just one perfect slotting for it, so please give me an excample or two on how you would slot it.

The nukes always end up short-slotted for me.... so i just throw in 3 of ATOs in there (the 10% one).

 

Just how it works out ^_^ Otherwise go with oblit or avalanche+fury of the glad

5 purple for the 10% recharge or 3 ATOs for the same reason.

 

But really the best slotting for a dreadful wail on a corruptor is just to be a defender unfortunately. The small amount of extra damage you get for being a corruptor is vastly overshadowed by the defenders greater survivability and better -res stacking. What this means in real terms is that a sonic blast defender is better solo and in teams than corruptor by almost every metric.

because when you pound down insta killing minions and lts and leaving a nasty -resist on whatever bosses are left, no ones ganna care about the 20-40 damage that mighta coulda shoulda woulda possibly been.  maybe.
