ipconfig /flushdns works sometimes

In game you can run /netgraph 1 (0 to disable) and it'll show you just how bad it is.  It's most likely an issue at your home or between you and the COH servers but not a COH issue.

Found another thread for you.  Guy had a similar attitude as you and it was his own issue.  Here's his summary post:

There are other tips and tricks in the thread.

Good luck.

Go to Speedof.me and tell us your results.

If you feel comfortable with the command prompt   ipconfig /flushdns  followed by   ipconfig /release     followed by ipconfig /renew    might help.

Note that in most cases, releasing and renewing your IP accomplishes nothing.  Since you're not pulling an external IP.

If you're having regular connectivity issues in-game, reboot your router, then reboot your machine.

I strongly suspect it's an issue with your internet.

I don't think I've experienced rubberbanding, ever, since ... Oct 2019?  Or so?  and I've played it a lot this past year.

I get that it's GOT to be frustrating as hell.

I remember dealing with Rubberbanding issue in EverQuest, Diablo2, and WoW, and man o man, it SUCKED.

I do not mean to pooh-pooh the issue.

But I don't see how it can be an issue on the Homecoming side of things.

Or think about it this way ...

What's the likelyhood the issue is within the Dev's and HC servers and the forums and in game chat isn't flooded by complaints.  If you and only a few others are having the issue it is far more likely not to be HC side of things but somewhere outside of their control.

I, occasionally, have issues with rubber-banding.

However, I know where my issue lies.

It's lies with my phone that I use as a WiFi hotspot.

I feel that.  My phone isn't the hot spot but a hot spot is what is in use.
