Smuggler Day Job

I have been logged off at various ferries around the Rogue Isles for almost two weeks, and I do not have the Smuggler day job badge. When I look under the day job tab in badges I have no progress bar. I have plenty of other villain day jobs, but I cannot get this one and it's needed for an accolade.

Odd.  I usually park myself on top of the ferry and just got the badge last night on one of my chars.  If you are blue side, you won't get the badge, but you will see progress and if you hover over the badge, will see how much is filled.  If it does not show anything with the bar full, you'll get the badge when you switch alignment to red.

Though doesn't sound like you're getting progress at all.  Do you see the dayjob in your effects?  (What the heck is that called under your status bar?  (coffee deprived)

Nope not blue side, I'm a villain and have gotten other villain day jobs such as the black helicopter pilot one with no trouble. I haven't been parked on the roof, but instead inside on the bottom, but have the smuggler day job icon in my buff bar. I'll try standing on the roof and see what happens.

This may be your issue, may be more than RI ferry that it happens at.

It seems that this is the case.  After logging off on the roof of the Ferry overnight, and instead of down below where the destination window pops up, I now have a progress bar for the Smuggle day job badge. Thank you both for helping me figure this out.

8Ð How nice I was able to help some one.  Seems red side has a few little quirks like this. Another spot is the PvP zones.  Since the Dayjob for Pilot is near the usable black Helicopter and we are plopped inside the PvP zone at one there is the need to move away and watch for the Dayjob Icon to change.  This is not a bug however.

At first I was scared to do this thinking that another player could pop out and start attacking me but thats not the case. Same side seems to be invalid targets, teamed or not.

Its nice to know the little details so that considerable time is not wasted.

just saying it depends on PVP Zone, the lower ones like Bloody Bay/Sirens Call/Warburg are side specific  (blue against red), but as far i recall Recluse Victory is free fire for all that are not on team.

Warburg is the free-fire zone, RV is Blue vs. Red
