Incarnate Destiny Barrier numbers

Is there anywhere I can see the numbers on the Barrier incarnate ability? City of Data has a formula, and I can't imagine the Barrier Core Epiphany actually being 57.5% defense like it says in mids.

Thanks.

It is that amount however the Destiny abilities have a reduced potency over time.

Instead of typing it out I'm lazy and ripped this off from a reddit post:

"Barrier core epiphany has a 57.50% defense and resistance buff that lasts for 10 seconds, 25% defense and resistance for 30 seconds, 2.5% defense and resistance for 60 seconds, and 5% defense and ressitance for 120 seconds. Those buffs do stack, so for example the first 10 seconds you have a cumulative buff of 90% defense and resistance, then for the first 30 seconds you have 32.5% defense and resistance and so on. You only get 5% for the entire duration of epiphany, but that bonus is up permanently up minus the cast time for barrier. If you open up the incarnate abilities menu at the top of your powers tab you can right click the different incarnate abilities under create and look at the detailed info. All of the destiny abilities are well described in how they function but some of the other categories aren't as clear."

So basically while the amount seems (and is) crazy high, it's not nearly that powerful for the entire duration.  Hope this answers it.  🙂

Edited to add:  By my very nature I am suspect of everything on reddit so I logged into one of mine and confirmed in game numbers match what was posted:

Something interesting... This indicates that the Defense portion only lasts for the first 10 seconds and the Resistance portion continues the entire duration.

...

Okay I just fired it off in game and watched defense and it is also scaling down slowly like resistance, even though the in game description window kind of indicates it does not.

Regardless,  I think of it as an emergency button type ability that basically makes you awesome for 10 seconds, then great for 30 seconds and then it sort of just slowly creeps down over time.

They both creep down over time with the same percentages of each, it looks like the in-game numbers aren't showing all of the lines of the power. You can also look up the numbers in City of Data, which pulls the information from the pigg files.

Also, @Daag, if City of Data is showing a formula it means that an AT wasn't selected, so it shows the scale of the power along with the modifier used - something that I personally appreciate, since you can tell immediately if it says "melee_ones" or "ranged_ones" that it doesn't matter what AT is selected, or you can see if powers are set for melee or ranged modifiers for ATs that have differing ones, etc. If you pick an AT at the top, it'll show the numbers as they apply for that AT at the selected level: I did that in my link to Barrier in my last post so it would just show the numbers.

Ah, okay, that makes a lot more sense now.

Thanks!

Some quick heads up for the future: In-game will always have accessible data for you to check out as the others have shown above, just use [ and ] brackets around the power name (so like  [Barrier]) and enter it into chat, it'll give you a clickable box that opens the info window. If you're not able to (or don't want to hop on) that same data does exist in Mid's, but is broken down a bit differently (but similarly). In the Incarnates window each of those abilities can be selected and "locked" in place to view their attributes in the corresponding boxes in the bottom of their window, and as you scroll through it it shows you the same information of how it has timer scaled values that slowly tier down/off.
