You have the wrong -kb in Singy. Overwhelming Force won't affect his Repel (because it does no damage). Switch it to a Sudden Acc and stick Overwhelming into Disruptor Blast.

If you're going with Enflame try and Max out the damage. Proccing it out is marginally better on a Controller, but not by much (I've run a lot of parses on it on my Ice/Traps/Sorc). And remember Singy is a great target for it.

Ah perfect thanks!

What is the dmg like from Enflame?

Here is Positron's Blast: Chance of Energy dmg, Javelin Volley: Chance of lethal dmg, Bombardment: Chance of Fire dmg, Annihilation: Chance for res debuff, Ragnarok: Damage, Ragnarok: Damage/end - Is that too much?

On a Controller it's just okay. Problem is it's geared at Controller level damage but doesn't do Containment. Which is also why Proccing it for a controller gives it a slight edge.

Good Vs AVs though. The DPA is the excellent.

i see. Well i have loaded it up with procs and the 2 other additional dmg enhancements so the only thing left then i to choose what the final power would be.

I have no slots left so Rune of Protection would be pretty worthless i think. i could slip in hover for the extra +def and the lotg 7.5% or go with Focused accuracy.

Actually RoP isn't bad as a 1 slot wonder now as it has fixed recharge anyway. Stick in Steadfast for the +Def and a bit extra resists when it is up (which is 1/3rd of the time now).

Very useful if you've skipped Fighting and have nowhere else for the Resist uniques (or just to save a spot if you did)

I have actually managed to squeeze that into Shadow fall

I meant to get a reply into this sooner but I've been swamped looking for a new job and sort of slipped my mind.

On a one to one scale Gravity Control (with Singularity) has the ability to take down an even level AV, but it is a slow process. When I tested I used a Gravity/Time and Time Manipulation isn't exactly loaded with debuffs. I did use Propel during the fight, and it does create a trash pile that--while amusing--is tedious to deal with after a while; Arcane Bolt wouldn't be a bad choice to swap out for as it'd perform comparably.

For those curious:

Spoiler

In the realm of building for Gravity/Dark the sustainable notes are in getting the build to a point where Fade keeps it at/around 32% defense naturally.

-Darkest Night will do a lot of heavy lifting going forward, even with purple patching. A +4 AV will knock down DN by 50% easily, but if it's boosted above 20% to begin with it still creates a significant enough impact for the build's survival.

-Soul Absorption did a lot in terms of group dynamic survival. It may not come off on paper as much, but it can steal a hefty amount from a spawn and when stacked behind a wall of reasonable defenses can do a lot of supplement things like Twilight Grasp for survival and end management. Essentially just don't forget to use this power.

-Build an attack chain around Propel or Arcane Bolt with a a FF+Rech proc in it to help supercharge Howling Twilight. Lift is one of the best DPA balanced powers in Gravity, that leaves a choice of something like Crush, or an Epic Blast.

-Some consideration on Poisonous Ray: It does have that tasty -Res inclusion, but it's on a short leash and Gravity already suffers from low DPS to be adding a very low DPA attack into the mix for an exchange in DPS increase. It will add, but it'll be anemic in most situations without a team backing you to really chew into that extra leverage. If you're going to be solo on that AV the inclusion of that ability may end up being detrimental long-term. I would sooner look at something like Water Spout with an Achilles' packed in it as Tar Patch will help ground the AV (ideally) while it chews down. Otherwise look at more aggressive forms of damage potential or resources like Fire, or Earth for Seismic Smash.

What would you recommend in terms of an attack chain? Does arcane bolt perform better than epic blasts?

The epic pools are all a bit blegh.

Just threw this together and moved a few bits around. Arcane bolt appears to pull ahead a bit in dps compared to epic blasts so didn't bother taking it with Psi, i'm not totally sure on the slotting though.

I have tried to add in maneuvers to try boost the meager def up to 32%

Since you're already deep in the Sorcery Pool, I would take Rune of Protection over Indomitable Will. RoP will give you more uptime, and more importantly, can be activated while you're mezzed (which IW cannot). If you do that, I would drop Psi Mastery entirely. Fire Ball or Ice Storm are better sources of AoE damage than Psi Tornado. Ice Mastery also gives you access to a defense-based armor.

Another option, if you're willing to go melee, would be Stone Mastery. Seismic Smash hits like a freight train, Fissure does decent damage and provides additional mitigation and Rock Armor is defense based.

I could maybe drop some slots on rock armor and maybe one from arcane bolt and enflame.

You could easily drop slots from Dimension Shift. It really doesn't need more than the base slot. It's autohit and has a fixed duration, so accuracy and mezz duration are wasted.  Those slots would be better used in Darkest Night and Fissure. Also recommend you try out Enflame on test. I really wasn't that impressed with it.

Not sure how much global accuracy you have, but Twilight Grasp has a tohit check. You might want to switch to an Accurate Healing set.

So i created this character on the test server and had some interesting results.

The dmg proc in dimension shift never triggered and i spent an hour casting it without anything else so going to scrap the points there and use 4 of them in darkest night with dark watcher's despair.

Enflame worked surprisingly well. If i cast it on an enemy the dmg was abysmal but if i cast it on singgy well it was very surprising so definitely worth it.
