I will not manipulate roleplay (ex: say there is an offer to get more influence, when there is no offer) and I will expect the same from you. If you say you want to meet at a certain time for a viewing, please show up or leave an IC message explaining your delay or absence. Please be respectful and courteous. Once your offer has been accepted, you will be invited to the supergroup to which the base is attached. You will have 2 (real time) days to transfer the funds via the in-game mail system or in character. Once the transfer has been received, I will remove all my characters from the base and provide instructions to change the base code. My situation was no different other than I was not in it for roleplaying. It was just a base that I had built that I had no use for. I was also selling it for in game currency or purple recipes, nothing outside the CoC. I guess the GM staff here have different standards for different people, which comes as no surprise to me to be honest. Glad you were able to get what you were after with this! The usual things, awkward, embarrassed, etc. But, I tried it and its cool. Luckily Sydney taught me a few things and now we are friends so I think it was worth the experience. I find it's practice and watching/reading what others do. I mimic until I find my own style, kind of just like how most people learn any kind of skill. I will definitely find a few circumstances to have roleplay opportunities in a very chill, non-high stress environment for you. Even I am still intimidated by open group roleplay and pocket D/bars in the general. I'm even intimidated to go into other people's bases, even if there are 'open' for roleplay to everyone. Everyone does things at their own speed; there's no reason to rush into things. Just take the steps you feel comfortable with. Roleplayers in general (so far), I have found to kind, patient and gracious. I bet you'll find the same if you're interested in going further. And you don't suck at it.
