I did some slight adjustments with slotting that I felt suited my play style better. I also took Cardiac instead of Musculature, in order to help deal with endurance issues (this power set come is an end hog). Note that Irradiated Ground currently has a broken proc rate. So while 6-proccing that power yields the best AoE melee set in the game, it may not stay that way forever as the devs have acknowledged it is a broken power right now.

But... but... I haven't even gotten my new FA/RM tank farmer to 50 yet! I was gonna abuse the crap out of broken procing on IG and Burn...

I have a proc abuse FA/RM+Enflame tank I made strictly to see how much I could close the gap between tank and brute by leveraging proc abuse. 6 procs in IG, 6 in Burn, 4 in Enflame. Completion times might tell a more nuanced story, but I really can’t tell that I’m slower than a Brute in a meaningful way. 
 

I do notice Burn’s long recharge when it’s bloated with procs (I have 6, but I’d recommend swapping one for a dam/rech or something - I’m sure a min/max guy like you already knows that though) instead of Armageddons, but things sure are winding up dead one way or another.

I imagine that if nothing else it will be the potential that irradiated ground gives for afk farming that will drive changes. The devs have already expressed reservations about that 'activity'. I'm remembering the reactions the last couple of times the farming community felt targeted by changes...

 

I wonder if the devs have considered changing the auto fire ability so that it can't be placed on a power with a damage component? *Ducks behind cover*

I would probably still do slow afk farming with damage auras because getting anything done while afk is better than nothing 🙂

 

But I’d probably switch to my Bio/Rad tank for the maximal passive damage combo.

 

It really does sound like the solution to their afk farming problem though. I for one don’t need use auto-fire for attacks in any other scenario.

Thank you for your build.  It looks great.  I did not realize Irradiated Ground was broken.  I can see how that would get changed.  Im not really looking to farm just enjoy the game. This looks great!

Basically what’s broken is that toggles are only supposed to have a chance to proc every 10 seconds, but with the way IG creates patches every pulse, it has wound up with a chance to proc every new patch (much more often than every 10 seconds). This was acknowledged as broken by a dev - I want to say it I think it was in a Sorcery thread because Enflame was doing something similar once? Though Enflame couldn’t capitalize on such a thing because it used to have Fear too.

 

To put it in context, my Rad/Fire Brute didn’t have this power procced at all for a long time because I didn’t know any better. Then one day I tried 6 procs in this power on my Bio/Rad Tanker. I *immediately* shelved my perfectly functional Rad/Fire Brute and regarded it as “gimped” until it could be rebuilt the second I saw those procs firing like crazy. Because it really is that strong.

I actually do have it it my build, Nihilii didn’t in his! Get it and 6 slot it haha. I believe I have the Winter’s set in mine. Some people like slotting a FF in there, which is totally fine. I feel it doesn’t make up much of a difference though.
