contest Slot Machine's Random Challenge - 2022

Been trying to get back into the game after some time off. Did this last year and it helped.

1. Tanker/ Shield Defense/ Katana (this combo isn't allowed so rerolled the secondary)

1a. Tank/ Shield Defense/ Energy Melee

This I don't mind the look of. I've been wanting to do a Shield toon I can get to a point I don't loathe the endurance issues... 

 

2. Defender/ Trick Arrow/ Fire Blast - I've got a Fire/Arrow blaster sitting at 22 (a former Wyvern agent, double-crossed by Manticore when he went dark for a bit) so I could see this being nice)

 

3. Brute/ Ice Melee/ Regeneration - DING DING DING

No thanks though.

I managed to get Permastone up to level 37 today. The combo continues to do very well with Frozen Aura adding another AoE to compliment Frost. It does drain endurance a bit with all the toggles, but it's a minor issue.  I managed to do the first three task forces solo (old Positron, Synapse, and Sister Psyche) with the Clockwork King being the toughest opponent (I almost went down a couple of times due to his attacks killing my recharge on my attacks). 

 

I enjoyed doing this event and look forward to it again. I also recommend this combo (Ice/Stone Stalker) as well as it's  very enjoyable to play.
