I think Rad Armor will be easiest to build tough.

Dark will need a bit more IO magic, and Bio needs lots of it. Stance dancing isn't bad, you can just run in Offensive until you get killed, then rez and switch to Defensive. Or run in Efficient if you're low on endurance. The tough part is remembering to click your self-heal-buff every spawn to keep your health and End topped up.

/MA will help with defense and do decent damage.

I think /Savage is the most fun.

/Rad does good damage but personally I think it feels slow but that's just my playstyle.

/Ele and /Kin are on the lower end of the damage scale but still get the job done and if you enjoy them then they'll work.  I have an SR/Electric that can get through all sorts of content solo.

For build help just look through this forum for a build similar to what you want and tweak it how you want it.

I agree with @ninja surprise that rad is a great starting point.

SImplest to build and survive, and super end friendly.

MA would give you a powerful tool to build positional defense top of your resists, and also has a very fluid and procable attack chain. Upon first glance you might think aoe is on the low side, but dragon tail is superior to most tanker aoes, and provides the whole package in one awesome power.

it's worth noting that rad gives you some extra aoe all by itself, so one more point in the ma corner!

I Wouldn't mind building a rad/ma myself, actually! Just a clean and effective combo.

I also agree with ninja on savage. This would be my second choice, and a good option if you want more aoe power, though at the expense of single target. Savage ST is a bit below par, but not bad.

Would bio/savage or bio/ma be better? If bio was the answer I pick haha

If you were building a Bio Armor Tank, I personally would go with Rad Melee. The two work great together by stacking double auras, you'll get a ton of damage rolling for you because you'll be reasonably debuffing the resistance and defense of your enemies as you fight them.

With IO's you can make a pretty solid tank using layered defenses, building for some recharge for your clicks, but there's not much that can stop a well built bio armor tank.

The rad melee side of it you get a bit of an extra self heal, defense debuffing (and resistance as you can slot Achilles in literally any power you want (they won't stack though so don't put it in all of them), Irradiated Ground is great for procs, and you get some decent single target but some great aoe as well. Each hit makes your enemies easier to hit as well.

This is how I built my homage to Swamp ThingTM.  I'm sure there are "sturdier" builds out there, but I had theme-based choices (like a host of chance for self heals) and rely on the absorption shields and AOE heals.  He's a "busy" play (lots of clicks), and Rad Melee can seem slow, but he's really hard to kill and a lot of fun.  Hope this helps:

Bio/rad sounds like the winner I'll have to look at your build if someone has other builds too that's a solid win cause I know 0 about building out players

I would encourage you to try and start building in mids yourself as we all start somewhere and the more experience we get with making builds the better we get. That said I personally am very reserved in whether I publicly release a build as doing so doesn't promote the opportunity for development to the person requesting a build.

However, if you make a build I'll be willing to give you feedback based on it with potential areas for improvement.

I copied a lot of builds before I did one I felt comfortable with. Even that one needed four passes on it before I was happy. My latest which was quite the conversion since I took a Stalker build and redid it as a Brute is looking at 5-7 passes on it before I'm happy. I tried to make a Stalker version of that one to start and accepted it wasn't good enough so I copied someone else's and made very minor changes, and then made the Brute version off of that. Point is, it is fine to copy as you go. Just learn from it and you'll figure out the basics from there.

I have a Rad/bio Brute. It is one of my better builds(copied mine you). A Tank version will be great. My only qualm with Rad is the ST cast times aren't great and can lead to attacking something which will be dead by the time your blows actually land. I would have picked Rad/savage to be the blender you want to be. Granted, you can skip Hemo with it currently being underwhelming.
