I'm a little confused about leveling up past 50.  The I25 notes say that rewards are tied to badges, not levels.  Any idea how this works?  I'm vet level 3 - is there a way to get Empyrean merits for that?

Also, I saw some references to daily rewards.  Is there such a thing?

Thanks!

That's more than likely from a level shift. Once you get your Alpha slot, for instance, to tier 3, it applies a level shift for the incarnate content. Not sure if it still shows it after you've received vet levels, though.

How much veteran XP is required for each veteran level?  Is it more than the standard XP needed to get from level 49 to 50, or are veteran levels gained quicker than standard levels?

Haven't checked the numbers but they certainly feel faster than those last few levels to 50. That could just be watched pot effect though.

The Level Shift comes from having a Tier 3 Alpha. The other Tier 3s also provide level shifts, but they only take effect within Incarnate Trials, like the Behavioral Adjustment Facility.

Being a level 50+1 is a little confusing, because as far as the game is concerned, you're still level 50, so if you go mission notoriety +0 you'll get missions full of blue mobs. You also need to remember, any lower-levels on the team will only be sidekicked up to level 49, so mobs that con white to you will con orange to them. Depending on how low they actually are and what kind of Enhancements they're slotting, they may not be able to hit at all mobs that don't give you any trouble!

As for how much XP it takes to level in vets, I don't even notice, really. It goes pretty fast. I leveled 3 times during the Quaterfield TF the other day.

You get a level shift +1 for a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Alpha power (slotted).  This applies to all content where you'd normally be level 50, and affects how the enemies con to you and how easy it is for you to hit them/how difficult it is for them to hit you.

You also get two levels shifts (+1 each) for a Tier 3 or 4 Lore and Destiny power (slotted).  These only apply in incarnate trials, including the two incarnate TFs in RWZ.
