Time is a very powerful set, but personally, I like a diversity of powersets on a  team.  That being said, you and your partner should play what you find most fun!

I know you didn't mention it, but I'm going to throw out my vote for Demons/Storm. It's a bit of a pain to level, but if you can slog it out until 50 and start getting your incarnates, it is a freaking beast. I don't even have mine properly slotted with sets yet and she can stand around dishing out pain and controlling the battlefield. I opted to sacrifice slots in all of my KB powers to change them to KD as a personal preference as I disliked throwing mobs around and out of my AoE's and such.

I primarily play on Everlasting, but you may occasionally find me on Indom. 🙂

Notable Characters: Apocolyptica - Demons/Storm MM; Lurking Monster - Human-Form WS; Environmentabot - Bots/Nature MM; Miss Fade - Ill/Traps Controller; Sister Apocalypse - Beast/Dark MM; Dr. Elaina Wrath - Plant/Rad Controller (Join the House of Wrath, and spread the word of science!); Ruff Ruff Boom - AR/Devices Blaster

If you are going for a duo concept, why not go for Heat and Cold? Apart from the thematic appeal, they are perfectly complementary with Cold giving you +Defence and debuff and Heat +Res and healing.

Demon/storm MM was the first toon I created on HC when I logged in the first time and my first 50......such a fun and powerful combo, paired with a demon/cold could be a fun ride with cold's shields, heatloss for endurance and sleet. Demon/time is nice and very strong but the damage brought by storms and the shield and debuffs from cold could be insane

Any other thoughts or suggestions.

So far /storm  or /thermal and /cold.

Right now I have them at /Nature and /Time.  But I wanted abit more defense and neither of those does that

Demon/Electrical Affinity is pretty snazzy on its own but even better in a MM duo... EA has some skippable powers (Defibrilate and Amp Up), and what you DO take out of the secondary doesn't require a whole lot of slotting to be effective.  That leaves you some room to play around in the build.   Then when it gets out on the ground, the chain heal/buffs are perfect for addressing the needs of henchdemons who like to go downrange; it even helps keep the little demonlings from Hell on Earth upright for an unnaturally long time.

I used duo my Demons/EA a lot with a Bots/FF MM and that was a pretty tight combo, summons were basically immortal.  That said, that is basically the case with Demons/EA while soloing, so the second one could be more of a debuffer like Dark or Rad.

Demon/Storm is an incredibly potent pairing.  Stuff just melts.  Was one of my first MM’s and I loved it.

But Endurance management is rough until you get Destiny Ageless.  Just keep that in mind.

Another great pairing is Demons/Cold.  Makes your demons very tough with all the shields and  if you duo with other MM’s it’s a huge defensive bonus.  Lots of -Res and -Regen as well so your heavy target capabilities are amplified greatly.

Just to note, it doesn't have to be rough until Destiny Ageless; I took Cardiac for my Alpha, and with it at T3, I am not having hardly any end issues.

@rolekiYou dont happen to have a build for that Demon/EA do you.  I could use one.  Decided to try it out and its working very nicely

Sure thing; I'll admit it looks a little sloppy but it trucks like crazy.

While true, it's a shame to pass up Musculature.  And honestly, on a stormy, you -really- want the added +Rech component from Ageless, as well as the +END.  Those two combined (+RECH/+END) turn you into a DPS machine.

But, on Homecoming at least, I've found Storm Summoning to be quite tolerable to play even pre-Incarnates via liberal use of Recovery Serums, Survival Amplifier and Base Increase Recovery Empowerment buffs.

Well sure, I was referring more for once you hit 50 and are building up. I do hope to change my alpha once I actually get a build going for my Demons/Storm. The whole incarnate system is still fairly foreign to me, as is trying to create builds (I never got that far in live), but I assume there are other ways to manage her end once I get all my incarnates unlocked and start figuring out how to slot her. And like you said, Recovery Serums and such are all other great ways to keep end up without sacrificing your alpha to Cardiac if so desired.

Long since retired, but I had a -lot- of fun with my Demon/Storm.  Crazy +Recharge with all the FF+Rech procs going off, burnout for triple LS and some other fun stuff.  END was an issue until Destiny Ageless, but I took Musculature Radial which boosts a few other things besides damage.  S/L Def softcapped and decent S/L resists as well made me highly durable and same for my Demons.  Just a fun, fun build to play.
