Demonstration of the superior control instruments available to Earth.

Video showcases the dominator controlling a group by itself while the team handles another one in another room as well as other scenarios.

Some light commentary included to explain how or when I used some powers. 
 

 

 


 


The build is below.  Notice that prior to the changes to sleep, I was using Water Spout. 
After the changes to sleep, when sleep became an auto-hit power, I replaced Water Spout for the sleep. 
Sleep has a lot of useful applications especially in some TFs after 50.

I like the attacks except the loooong animations ones.  The heal I have to take, so...

I have not had an issue with the heal hitting, usually I aim for a target that has been debuffed.

I agree that it is reliable enough, especially when melee range is required.  The heal should be auto whenever Radiation Sihpon hits just like Dark Assault's Life Drain does even from the safety of range.   Not only that but Dominators also lack Irradiated Ground which helps to Contaminate foes.

Really nice build! Im a returning vet player off an on but I come back to try new class combinations. I lost my Mind/Energy Dom when the game shut down a long time ago so Im contemplating a new one. Thinking remaking him or running either Earth/Energy, Earth/Dark, Earth/Savage. I am looking for using it end game PVE/ PVP. Any input would be appreciated!

Really hard to go wrong with /dark as a secondary on domi's, gets the little heal from life drain which is really useful, only savage has anything like it and i tend to run out of slots for blood craze and chuck in a couple of d syncs and its still got a massive recharge. Dark blasts - to hit won't hurt either, gather shadows is awesome bit like power boost which you'd be used too from your /energy dom, its got a great pbaoe in engulfing with a decent radius and recharge and some heavy hitting single target attacks.

Earth control is strong on a Dom for sure. 2 things to keep in mind about volcanic gases. It does not benefit from domination, (at least I believe that was the case prior to the most recent patch) however given the behavior of the vents it can stack up magnitude on its own over time

which helps with that. It also causes the fear/scatter like a rain, so beware that it may spread out things that aren't held/already locked down.
