I don't care for the fact that the hold animation for Symphony control is a standard headache. It should be making the NPCs dance in place. Could be tribal dance or just random generic dance emote, but something that differentiates the hold animation.

Pretty sure targets only check to see if held and not source power of hold. I'm not against the suggestion, it would be nice, but to the best of my knowledge, it would require for the game to start checking for a new flag to determine the appropriate animation since emotes cannot be inflicted on another. (If I am mistaken and emotes can be inflicted on another? Then that should be an easy change.)

I am not sure though there are three hold animations I am aware of. One being the headache animation, one being the han solo pose and one being the shocked animation.

Oh I forgot the puking animation as well as the coughing animation for holds as well.

Good point. Forgot about the shock and choking ones. Sorry. (I don't know the Han Solo pose. Which one is that?) So yeah, source powers may already have flags for type then. So your suggestion becomes far simpler since the mechanics to check for it already exist.

Power descriptions for the holds:

Your audience falls into deep despair, incapacitating them.

Hymn of Dissonance causes pain on its listener, the pain can be disruptive enough to hold them in place. Stronger foes might persist, but will still attack at a reduced speed.

I don't think either would cause a reaction of "woo, party on, dance the night away..."

Very good!

I really like this idea because it fits in to the theme so well.

Clapping and cheering would be a thought as well, but dancing brings out a more musical theme/expression.

I think it would work for the sleeps in the symphony sets as well.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

I mean, in the Scooby Doo Mysteries Inc. episode I don't think the people of Crystal Cove were happily dancing when the zombie band were basically forcing them to into exhaustion. I mean let's be full evil hehe.

Han Solo pose the one where they have hands up frozen backwards. Its' a similar pose to when Han Solo is frozen in carbonite. Sorry for late reply.

No need to apologize. I don't recall ever having seen that pose though.

You see it when they are frozen with ice, earth, and I think dark control's hold also makes them do that pose.
