Need a build for a savage/dark armour stalker

Gungadin

Recommended Posts

I seem to keep running out of endurance on my sav/dark stalker, even when stacking a bunch of savage attack buffs. At level 27, the dark regeneration power keeps me alive through a lot of accidental damage spilling over from the team's main tank, but it also sucks up my blue bar.

I just stuck a Performance Shift +end in fitness, but would appreciate any guides on how to slot and build such a stalker for survivabilty and not running out of end.

Dark armor in general is known for being incredibly endurance hungry. My advice is designate some extra enhancement slots towards endurance in the toggles and attacks until you can offset it with set bonuses.

Rerolling far too often, even by this game's standards.

I dont know what it is about savage on a stalker, but it is hungry for endurance. My broadsword stalker has way less end issues than savage, and savage on any other AT basically has limitless end.

Assassin's Frenzy has about 14 E/s cost out of the box.  The more you use it, the worse your E/s will be.  Savage Leap is also brutal on END use.  So until you can get IOed out it is important to build an attack chain where AF and SL are lead off and bonus use powers rather than a standard part of the attack chain.  On the other hand, Hemorrhage has a very low E/s cost (so pour slots into it ASAP to get it recharged faster if you have END issues).  Shred is also a decent E/s attack.

Here's a quick L27 build to give you some ideas.

It's a fairly costly build for L27 (buy recipes instead of enhancements for the common sets if you can, then it's not so bad).  I have alternative slotting in the second slotting for powers with sets in them (shift-RClick to switch).  In each case the attacks have 1 Acc, 1 EndRdx and 1 Dam except for Hemorrhage, which has a Rech instead of EndRdx, as it saves you END simply by being used more often.  I also put a 4th slot in Shred for an Achilles' Heel proc, which can shorten fights and save END that way (I estimate that it will help more than the P-Shifter during the fight, though the latter will catch up in between fights), and a Rech in Assassin's Frenzy for more frequent use as a hard hitter (though it does hurt END use, just forgo using it when you're having issues, but what we're really looking for is Dam/End to shorten fights).  The three toggles aren't that costly, so I put just one EndRdx in each, with the other 2 slots for Res.  That will hopefully lessen Dark Regen use, since it's an END hog.  Also, I used both Numina's and Miracle specials.  If you don't want to fork over the INF for those then move the extra slot in Health, perhaps to Dark Regen for a Heal to once again lower frequency of use.

In this build I consider Hasten and Placate the best to lose for travel powers if you want such in the build.

Put a Theft of Essence chance for +end in dark regeneration and that will make a huge impact on your endurance management.  It basically makes dark regen end free instead of sucking your end dry. Or at least it did back on live. I’m not super well versed on how procs like that work these days.

Savage Melee coupled with Bio and I have no End issues, love it.

-Carry blue inspira

-Three slot Stamina asap. Switch from TO's to DO's to SO's as each come available. Switch to IO's at level 30+.

-Slot end reduction in all powers.

-Slot a Theft of Essence proc in Dark Regeneration at 16.

-At level 17, double slot Unbreakable Guard IO's into Dark Embrace, Murky Cloud and Obsidian Shield for a total of 7.5% end discount for all powers.

-Slot Miracle unique at level 17.

-Slot a Performance Shifter proc at level 18.

-Work on the Atlas Medallian Accolade at level 23. Finish it asap.

-Slot a Numina unique at level 27.

-Take Superior Conditioning at level 35 and slot a Performance Shifter proc in it.

-Work on the Portal Jockey accolade at level 40. Finish it asap.

-Take Physical Perfection at level 41 and slot a Performance Shifter proc in it.

-Consider taking taking Cardiac Core Alpha at 50.

-Consider taking taking Ageless Destiny at 50.

-Consider taking taking Support Hybrid at 50.

Did you ever find one?
