I made an web app for viewing and sharing toon builds online.

Here you can search for different builds and share your own build as well.
You can view a mobile friendly snapshot of the build or download it and view it in Mids or Talon character builders.

Still early in its life so let me know if there is broken stuff. Currently, MIDS new save format is the only type supported for upload.

Feel free to check it out, share builds,etc
 

This is still in early development, so just keep that in mind there may be some things that arent fully working

9/3 udpate:
 

Search now shows primary, secondary properly.
Made background a gray for now to not make your eyes bleed.
Added a "temporary" toggle to hide the inherant powers other than health
Fixed names in display list - I think...

CoH Faces was a semi social app that people connected with outside of game - think myspace for coh

IIRC, the same site was where we would ALSO post our builds using the build tracker and other stuff though.

IDK if it was the SAME site for sure, but I know there was a site that I could go check my stats on. It might have been a Titan site, but I'm pretty sure it's archived at this point as is Faces.

Some comments from me and bear in mind I don't know what you're still working on with it! Looks good and a useful resource for people looking for builds or starting points for a build.

 

- The Browse Builds page is a bit broken for me. It's showing a blaster with invisibility primary and mace mastery secondary. In fact, almost all the builds are displaying wrong.

- When you click through to the builds, there's a lot of stuff on the page. I'd prefer to not see anything unslotted rather than having to scroll through all the prestige sprints just to see how health/stamina was slotted.

- The white background is really bright, but that's just me and I like to sit in gloom. A neutral grey, or the choice of dark mode for black would be great.

 

I tried setting up an account which worked fine. However when I tried to import a build (Mids 3.5.5) I got the attached error...

 

 

Edit to add, looks like the build uploaded fine.

Hmmm I cant seem to replicate that error. If you try uploading another build later and get that error again please let me know

It looks like images for common IOs aren't really there. It looks like there is simply a generic image for all of them.

Street Justice is labeled as Brawling.

 

Import form needs to be formatted better. I believe the comment field isn't labeled as such. The drop down menu doesn't look like one. There is no spacing between that field and the Import button. You should have your labels for an input field outside of the white area as that looks like it is part of the input field when it isn't.

Thank you for the feedback, I will add them to my issue tickets

Common IOs have a placeholder currently due to missing the asset - didnt get to hooking it up just yet

Ill see if I can rework the Import form a bit to make it more intuitive.
Right now the comment field is populated by the build file. You can actually make comments of your build in Mids, but its unlikely very many people know about that - maybe I should add an option to combine a comment and any build comments? Currently you can 'edit' your uploaded builds and change comments under the edit.
