Perfect Square Posted August 30, 2023 Share Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) What: Spiders and Squids - Epic Archetype SuperteamWhere: Excelsior (first meeting in Atlas Park)When: Fridays at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific US (first meeting 8 Sept 2023)Who: The Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Indomitable Sonic, and Excelsior Nature, Knockback, Electric, Thermal/Cold, Dark, TA, Guns, Poison, Stone, Time, Rough Riders, Symphony, Psychic, Demon/Fire Control, and Storm Superteams)Why: FUN, fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Spiders and Squids Superteam where we will harness the power of the Epic Archetypes to subdue our foes. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Must be a one of the following Archetypes (any forms/branches): Peacebringer Warshade Soldier Widow Required Powers (slotting): Maneuvers by level 14 (2 slots worth of Defense enhancements by level 20) - Tactical Training version for VEATS, Leadership for Kheldians, bonus points for both The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Assault Tactics Other team-focused powers are great too: Vengeance, Victory Rush, Weaken Resolve, Spirit Ward, and Teleport Target are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. Miscellaneous Details: Our first meeting will take place Friday, Sept 8, 2023 at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT under the Atlas statue in Atlas Park on Excelsior. Feel free to show up fresh from the character creator or bring an existing Epic AT alt. Because VEATs are limited to choosing a villain alignment from the character creator, we ask that you create your VEATs before the starting time to give yourself some time to visit Null the Gull in Pocket D and switch alignment to vigilante (preferred) or hero. We'll be coordinating the group through use of a global channel named "Justice Superteamers". Everyone participating on this team must join the channel. (/chan_join "Justice Superteamers"). If you show up later or in subsequent weeks, ask for an invite there. We have a Justice Superteamers SG with a fully functional base. Team members are welcome to join the SG and anyone is welcome to use the public base amenities with code: JST-19564. We also have a Discord channel for out of game and voice communication. We'll start in Paragon City and run arcs, DFBs, and scanners/banks there, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what the Rogue Isles and Praetoria have to offer. We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc). There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier. Feel free to show up late, roll a 2nd alt, etc. Super-Sidekick makes teaming incredibly easy. If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level, any time. Just note that if you're significantly beyond the rest of the team in terms of level, you should expect to exemplar down to the rest of the team most of the time. Perfect Square Posted August 31, 2023 Author Share Posted August 31, 2023 https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/edt Eastern (US) Daylight Time UTC -4, the time zone the large majority of the eastern United States uses in the summer months, during the hour shift forward, until Nov 5, when it back shift to EST (Eastern Standard Time) for the winter months. I could also just say ET (Eastern Time) and captured both, but that sometimes confuses non-US players and on line time converters. People will sometimes say EST when they mean EDT, but that is not correct as EST remains UTC -5 in the summer months (some areas don't shift and do legitimately stay on it year round) and is an hour earlier than EDT (in line with summer Central Time in the US). @smnolimits43 Are you planning to join us? If you're unsure about the time zone you can just google "8 PM Eastern time" and it will return your local time. Please remember that VEATs need a few more minutes of prep to go to Pocket D to visit Null the Gull to switch to a blue (vigilante preferable) alignment. Quote are we doing something sunday, We host our storm Superteam on Sundays. That started months ago so most Stormers are working on Incarnate slots (and a few alts), but all are welcome. Quote next friday, and where should we meet ?? Yes, this team will run every Friday at the same time (8pm eastern/5pm pacific). We don't have a designated meetup spot outside of the first night, but coordinate teaming through the custom channel (and Discord). /chan_join "Justice Superteamers" on your team alt and you'll see and can post messages in the main chat box. Collectively referred to as EATs - Epic Archetypes, since they were released later than their Hero and Villain predecessors and originally had a requirement of a level 50 on the account. And we never exclude any players who meet the project requirements so we'll be sure to get you on a team, though sidekicking/exemplaring to the majority of the teams level is typical (most of us are in the low 30s now).
