Wiki locations and bad waypoints

Interesting bit, probably related to how some mission doors get pointed into weird areas, but for some reason if you setdown a thumbtack near the Port Oakes Plaque, the waypoint shows up at the abandoned lab instead.   The thumbtack is shown at the correct location though.

 

I added a kludge location nearby in the wiki, but didn't change the original parts since it's not the wiki's fault.

It's a beacon issue in Port Oakes and in Mercy Island that, as far as I am aware, dates back to the release of CoV. I just posted in the thread you linked with a longer explanation from Faultline.
