When I discovered the Sheer Will Accolade, Immediately proceeded to acquire it for all my "support types" since the devs use of Status effects is rather excessive, you would not notice it if you were melee, since you are essentially immune to them, so you would not quite notice.

So I looked at what it took to get it hero side and then villain side. It was an evident choice to go villain side, just 5 SFs. The hero side, is just stupid, nowhere as simple as the villains, its embarrassing, maybe just have 5 Ouro threads to do would be equitable.

So please, relook at the hero requirements, the safeguard one is just dumb, and the alignment mission is another dumb one, dump these 2, and add another Ouro thread, I would suggest, any ideas out there on how to make the two approaches to get Sheer Will more equitable?

It's an intentional difference to spur more activity villain-side.

Get busy living... or get busy dying.  That's goddamn right.

Eh, for me - a break free is much easier to get and has a lot faster recharge. The power itself is a "nice to have", but both hurdles for each alignment are too high for it to be worth it.

You may now thank me for deleting a page of useless, worthless opinions.

Yeah, but one of those is Aeon, and "an extra small breakfree every 10 minutes" is hardly worth that clustermess.

Do Aeon at -1/8 and it is super easy, believe me I lead it 12 times

Aeon....I dunno. It's really a nice "story", but even if you zip past the ripples, it SEEMS long, to me. Just when I think it should be over, there's yet another mission to do. If it weren't for Cosmic Council walking some of us through it when it came out, I wouldn't have much of a clue as to what's going on, as far as the whole brickernauts doing the explode-y thing, and where to go during the final mission.

Still, it's profitable, even if you just take the merits (which I normally do). An acc/threat/rec would be nice, but it's one out of ....a dozen? 2 dozen? possibilities. Odds of getting it are low, quite low.

The more you run it, the less confusing it gets, like anything else in game, or in life.

I don't care how easy it is, it's a confusing, un-fun mess, believe I ran it 1 time and will never run it again (unless maybe if it gets made into an SSA-style arc like it clearly should've been).

AEON frankly a lot depends at what difficulty level you run it, when I was doing it for the sheer will accolade, I ran it at -1/1 with a team of 8, it was ridiculously easy and could do it in under 20 min easy. Do the star version or +4/8, then you are in for a run...

I mean...sure. That's a reason. Is it gonna change anything though, a long charge 30 sec click? Pretty sure it wont. There is already a much easier (and more useful) accolade in Demonic Aura vs Archmage, which hasnt seen flocks to redside. Likewise, we have Atlas Med vs Marshall, which has the opposite issue. Is Marshall gonna get adjusted too?

Wouldn't it be better to make things basically equal and then let people play where they like?

I wasn't speculating.  The requirements were discussed during closed beta, that was the development team's response.
