For those OCD types who are lazy as hell.  Am I really the only one?  1️⃣ is the loneliest numbah 1️⃣

What are all the badges that can only be gotten during Halloween?  Are there any new ones? Any tips/tricks/strategies?

The Trick or Treat badges Elite Boss and Enemy badges join the PI Motel or KW league.

These leagues might also TP out to bash GMs, run DA and/or ZA.

If you are still missing the GM or Unseelie badges hang around AP players there are always running around looking for the two GMs and the GMs have Unseelies spawn with them. Read broadcast and join the pack.

DA and ZA badges can also be acquired separately watch event channel notifications and/or LFG (a single team can do both of these). The ZA EBs need a team of 7+ to spawn, may be even a full team (or enough out of team players in the same location).

For costume badges, be outside the league and run around doors at the PI Motel put on the first costume you get.

Opening doors drop Whispered Rumour tips, run those missions to get the badges (5 hero/vigilante alignment, 1 villain/rogue - you keep the WR tip while changing alignment you could get it in PI, change alignment and run the 6th in Mercy Island, for example). This combines costume badges and WR badges. You only have one WR tip at a time, so when you get a tip run it right away.

Ostentatious badge is a real test to acquire just have to keep at it, run around doors, stop for a minute for the timeout to drop, run the doors again over and over.

House of Horror badges are pretty easy just form a team wear a costume, run in LFG. It's just a lot of running around, doing the Dark Pact before entering the house, running through the basement, then going in to the graveyard for 99 zombies within 12 minutes.

Note that the Whispered Rumor tip only drops if you are wearing a costume while opening doors.

I find one of the easiest ways to run it if you have friends is everyone to grab it and run it in Pocket D.  Easy access to all the doors and Null is there to change alignment for you.

If you do run it while in a league, check with the league leader if there can be a team that runs it.   If you are lower than 50, note if you run your tip, you will drop everyone on your team to your level.

Yeah that's why I said in what you didn't quote "put on the first costume you get" but obviously linking that with the WR tips is right.

In Pocket D, I guess the ToT spawns don't spawn?

I definitely would not recommend doing the WR tips while in a team/league no matter if they accommodate it or not. Either way you can just whiz through to the end take down the boss but solo is just a lot less fuss. Definitely join the league after getting the 6 WR badges while collecting costume badges.

Back when Task Force Junkies was super popular, we'd get a team of 8, and everyone had a Whispered Rumor tip, we just ran each of ours, zipping to the back for the mission objective, and if it took more than 5 minutes, I'd be surprised, and the Pocket D tip for running it is genius.

Sorry, wasn't clear.  Pocket D for just running the tips.  No door knocking there.

Team is just so you have a larger collection of tips to use.   Tougher fight at the end with a team, but having someone stealth and port the team over works great

Thanks that became much clearer to me. For the WR tips I run them one at a time upon receipt for the first five within PI, then started using Pocket D for the 6th that needs villain/rogue alignment (Arriviste). Not run in to many problems running the hero/vigilante tips in PI (there is a chance of a very long distance run to the tip door) mostly they happen within a few hundred yards of the horror motel.

Other tips are to avoid running Deadly Apocalypse in the PI league always seem to miss at least one banner badge. Wait for events channel to say the DA is heading for a nice easy zone to travel to form a team guarantees all the badges. Zombie Apocalypse is best run the same way just needs 7-8 players for EB spawns.

You can abandon the mission and reselect to get a closer one.    That cave entrance in Tempest Quay I think is one of the more annoying ones.

Should get easier if the patch on beta goes live Tuesday.  Just one hit on the banner should qualify you for the badge.

I've been on three perfect runs of the banners yesterday.    League split up to kill off mobs, then everyone gathered to take out each banner.   Teams were fairly balanced for dps, so it worked out great.

The Zombies are usually fine with a big league since it tends to go on fairly long.  Last night my friend and I were doing the Heldenjager arc and wound up dealing with Zombies next to Positron.  Normally we would have just moved on, but everytime I tried talking to Posi, he'd run off to smack a zombie and kill the chat.  Rude.

Did finish off the last of the halloween badges for my scrapper though...  (And then we spawned the GM Nemesis in the PI Motel parking lot...)

Except for the badges for 10, 25, and 50 costume drops from trick-or-treating. I've gotten more costumes after getting the 50-costume badge, but there's no badge progress for a higher badge, like there was after passing 10 and 25, so I'm guessing that 50 is the highest. I was curious, and when going to Annah for a costume slot counted the halloween costumes she had available, and there were 144 of the regular 'door drop' costumes, not counting the Fir Bolg, Ancient Vampire, and Arisen Mummy costumes.

The Costume badges are not for unique costumes.  If a door treat would give you a costume you already have, it still bumps the badge count up one.  And costumes you get from the House of Kane counts toward the badge as well.

And yes, just 10, 25, and 50 for costume badges.
