Uun Posted Monday at 03:59 PM Posted Monday at 03:59 PM I was running Mr. G's 2nd arc on my lvl 50 T4 Ice/Stone stalker. I was running at +3/x4 (with a +1 lvl shift) and was cruising through. In the final mission, after you defeat Tub Ci, you face 3 groups of Awakened. I've fought them many times before and know they're tough, but my build has 52% psi defense and all their attacks are psi. The first two groups had no bosses and went down quickly. The third group had 2 bosses and kicked my ass. Several times. I checked their stats on CoD and didn't see any autohit powers or debuffs. I checked the combat log but the tohit stats for the Awakened weren't showing up unless they missed (which wasn't often). I also didn't see any large damage spikes that would account for my going down so quickly. What am I missing? Uuniverse
ZemX Posted Monday at 04:31 PM Posted Monday at 04:31 PM Don't know that much about them. Any chance they have self buffs for toHit or something like that? Don't know what else would explain not seeing a ton of misses in the combat log. They should be missing you more than hitting you otherwise.

As soon as you see a Subjugator, he or she needs to go down ASAP. See here. 1 1 2
Octogoat Posted Monday at 05:00 PM Posted Monday at 05:00 PM And what's the deal with airline food? 1 1

Alaska Airlines, for example, makes their management periodically eat the food served on their flights, so that they're aware of the quality of what the passengers are getting. Other airlines don't bother, and wind up serving food that compares poorly against hospital food (and having worked at a Navy hospital for thirty years, I'm very aware of the quality of the food the galley serves.)
Carnifax Posted Monday at 05:50 PM Posted Monday at 05:50 PM All I can suggest is upload the log to https://www.carnifax.org/ go to the Graphs section, scroll down and see if anything jumps out in the "Damage Taken by Power" piechart. Might give you some idea. I know playing my Ice / Stone stalker on a PuG I nearly died against the 1st spawn of Psi heavy enemies, I assume either down to the Psi damage or a combo of some Def debuffs followed by a flurry of Psi attacks (Stone has ~40% DDR). After that never came even close to dying so could just be RNGesus hating on you. My level 50 builds [Bullitt Time : DP/Kin Corruptor] [Carnifax : Ill/Dark Controller] [Kerriae : Plant/Storm Controller] [Echinoderm : Bio/Spines Tank] [Iron Brew : Mace/Rad Brute] [Snookered : Staff/NRG Brute] [iScream : Ice/Ice Scrapper] [Binman : Savage/Shield Stalker] [Modul-8 : Time/Sonic Defender] [Concussion Blast : Fire/NRG Domi] [Orblivion : Dark/Martial Domi] [Mombie : Necro/Nature MM] [Tempore : Water/Time Blaster] [Thermodynamic Flux : Ice/Fire Blaster] [Carni's Online CombatLog Parser Alpha]

That helps explain it (and I did take down the Subjugator first), but I continued to have problems after they were defeated. Apparently the Mindstorm also has an auto-hit attack (Frazzle). https://cod.uberguy.net/html/entity.html?entity=awakened_mindstorm 1 Uuniverse

Pardon my cluelessness, but where in the CoD page does it indicate that something is AutoHit? I see the accuracy entry (1.0 for this power) but my understanding is that's akin to the accuracy rating we see in PC powers. I am sure there is something on the page that I am missing. As an aside, set the drop-down to "Boss-Grunt" to see the numerical damage on the power. Or uncheck the box to the far left for "Allow any class" and it will auto-populate the drop-down. Frazzle gets nasty when the PowerCell value stacks up. Also has a -Def component, as I am fairly sure several other Awakened attacks do. Chances are you already know this, but for folks following the thread it might be helpful. IIRC the 3 spawns of Awakened in that mission get progressively nastier, with the last one being pretty heavy on the Boss count. You see a mousetrap? I see free cheese and a f$%^ing challenge.
