howies1985 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 can we increase the number of slots in the salvage racks and enhancements tables and our own bank and our inventory we get so much loot and do alot of upgrading on our enhancements that all our inventory always get filled up quickly so was wondering if we can increase the number of slot right now it only 100 and it fills so quickly 1
Nerio72 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 There are ways to increase salvage inventory (it also increases as you level) https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Invention_System_Capacity 1
Doc_Scorpion Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Don't be a hoarder... Especially of common and uncommon salvage, or DOs/SOs, or generic IOs, or... well, of pretty much everything that isn't rare salvage or IOs. 1 Unofficial Homecoming Wiki - Paragon Wiki updated for Homecoming! lemming Posted February 2 Posted February 2 There are technical reasons that bases are limited to that number due to archaic storage code with the base. I wound up putting together a private base to store stuff I'm not quite ready to get rid of (and it's a good place to test out things I don't want to hit the main base with). However, as Doc says, there's a lot of stuff that doesn't need to be kept on hand. For salvage, two racks for common, two for uncommon, and three for rare. Common and uncommon have about five of each type in them to allow easy crafting in the base and get topped off. Rest gets vended (either AH or sold direct) Enhancements I usually just store the ones I know I'll be using on current characters as they level, but sometimes some that are conversion fodder. 1

Everything in a base adds to this (invisible?) limit, so the more complex the base, the more 'fun' it'll be when you're inside it and trying to do things like move or interact with stuff. This is likely one of the many things that would require a complete rebuild of the games core coding. Not something anyone has (openly?) attempted or committed the resources to as it wouldn't be a small task. ZacKing Posted February 3 Posted February 3 As @lemming mentioned there's technical reasons for the storage limits. Bases with high item counts get very laggy, and forget about trying to use the editor to make any changes. The one change I'd love to see with base storage is for a single rack being capable of storing whatever the maximum storage limit is. Make it so we only need 1 rack instead of 18 and limit it that you can only place one in the base. Would solve a lot of space issues I think.
tidge Posted February 4 Posted February 4 A slightly practical solution for "hoarders" is to add items into a character's Auction House inventory. Identical items can be stored therein in stacks of 10 (salvage, same-level recipes, but not inspirations). The Auction House is available outside of instanced maps (and now I think it is not accessible in PVP zones). The Vault Reserve storage grows as the character levels up, I find it to be a convenient place to store rare salvage, or less rare items I know I will be using. Vault reserve is accessible anywhere.

If you don't put an asking price for it, then it just sits in your stored tab of the AH and can't be bought. 1

I didn't suggest listing them on the Auction House (that would waste Inf because of the vig), just storing them.

So just the handful of slots then, k, that makes more sense.
