Healix Posted Sunday at 12:40 PM Posted Sunday at 12:40 PM I have a favorite fire farm...4880-OSHA Academy. It is an open outdoor area, and the mobs don't wander, keeping sitters safer. The XP is really great, and the drops are pretty good. I would like to find a non-fire farm that I like as much. Does anyone have a suggestion? If you have a favorite, you can post here to help others. Describe what kind, the name/number, and why you like it. 😀 Forever grateful to be back in my city!
Snarky Posted Sunday at 01:23 PM Posted Sunday at 01:23 PM I have used the same one since the major change to fire farms a couple? Years ago. It is on Excelsior and is called “a longer road” or something like that. I just search longer road. It is the S curve tunnel like from the start of market crash. It is a Fire Farm and takes me about 10 min to lazily clear at 4/8. 12 if i am really distracted. If i GRIND (and i never do) i can get my main acct new level 1 to 50 and alpha opened up in about 4 hours using my alt acct farmer. I generally take long breaks and run half hour to an hour at a time. But I really do not need 50s anymore and enjoy leveling through TF/SF/Trials. That is the best way for me. I will use the farmer to kick to 15 then start. Then at 40-45 there is either a random pug itf or drop back into farm. Not enough late game SF/TF/Trials to 50 from 35-50. So i sweeten the mix with a 10-20 min of farming here and there. 1
COH Radgen Posted Sunday at 01:39 PM Posted Sunday at 01:39 PM I'm kinda like @Snarky (I'll take 'Things I never thought I'd say for $100, Alex!) in that I don't do a lot of farming. When I start an alt with powersets I've already used, I'll farm them up (alt farming account, main leveling account) so I can get them useful proc IO's before sending them out into the city. Most often I'd use the Angelbot Meteor Map (51289) or the Comicon Asteroid (2915) missions. They can be a bit dangerous for sitters because the mobs do wander and you have to remember to hit the glowie before going afk or you'll get timed/kicked out but they're good xp and drops, IMHO. I've joined some SG/Coalition farming teams and a popular one seems to be a Carnie map (47308) as the mobs don't wander about like the asteroid and meteor maps. 1 @Radgen Mostly on Torch and Ex
American Decoy Posted Sunday at 04:06 PM Posted Sunday at 04:06 PM I don't grind for INF. I do like occasionally testing myself in AE or joining a farmer to provide entertainment through chat and faceplants. Sometimes I like to relax, turn off the brain and repeat a few runs in a farm. My favorite non fire farm is "Easy Farming S/L even Squish Toons by @Mass Destruction ID 20474." It is a small outdoor city map with followers of Bobcat to mow down. My all-time favorite is "Noobz Fire Farm by @Jeanny ID 20440." The names of the Noobz we have to fight just crack me up. 1

"A Longer Road Home by @InzerSBD ID 52234." I was going to ask if AE missions were local to one server, or universal. I hopped on Excelsior and Indomitable. All AE missions I saw were on both servers. So, without even asking I'll answer "universal." 1
JJDrakken Posted Sunday at 05:52 PM Posted Sunday at 05:52 PM The rare times I farm, I do any of @Xtomic maps. They are classics and very rewarding. 1

Healix Posted Monday at 10:18 PM Author Posted Monday at 10:18 PM I'll check it out! Forever grateful to be back in my city!
Healix Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago For very low levels waiting for a farm, try the Tunnel Witches (type into search at the console). Stay close to the wall and run to the rear, to get a helper NPC. It has great XP and will help you level fast. Forever grateful to be back in my city!
PLVRIZR Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago My favorite S/L farms are the "Orb" ones by @Krimson. There are non-EB and EB versions. Both are on the Dreck map, so sitters are pretty safe. Dreck map also means LOTS and LOTS of baddies to vanquish. 1 Reunion - JAWBRKR (Inv/SJ Tank), Lich-ilicious (Necro/Dark MM) Torchbearer - Will Power-Flame (WP/Fire Tank), Frostee-Freeze (Ice/Emp Troller), DARKNESSREIGNS (Inv/DM Tank), BALLBUSTR (Inv/SS Tank) Indomitable - PLVRIZR (Stone/SS Tank), The Atomic Warden (Rad/Rad Defender), FACESMSHR (EM/EA Brute) Excelsior - NUTCRCKR (Inv/SS Tank) - VL500+, DRKSTNITE (DA/DM Tank), Nosfera-too (Kin/Dark Defender), FIREBLLR (FIre/Therm Corr), THUGSRUS (Thugs/Dark MM), Marshal Mayhem (Fire/MA Tank), SLICRDICR (DB/WP Scrap), NECROTANK (SD/DM Tank), FRMRBRWN (Spines/Fire Brute), AVLANCH (Ice/Stone Tank), SWMPTHNG (Bio/Rad Tank), FREEZRBRN (Fire/Ice Tank), ZZAAPP (Elec/Elec Brute), Voltaic Thunderbolt (Elec/Elec Tank) Lemme Axe You Somethin (Rad/Axe Tank), PWDRKEG (Fire/FIre/Pyre Tank), ATMSMSHR (Rad/SS Tank), Morphology of Flame (Bio/Fire Tank) Everlasting - MISSADVENTUR (Inv/SS Tank), Mace to the Face (SD/WM Tank) Retail 2004 (pre-I1) - 2012 lights out; Feb. 2020 - present

EBs do not give enough XP/INF for the amount of time it takes to fight them. You're better off just having lots of bosses, which my farms have now. They are all the same Smashing/Lethal enemies using a variety of sets because S/L lets you use more than one set. 1 2
