I use a Razer Naga Chroma and Razer Tarterus.

I would not recommend them. I've used variants since before I started CoH - originally a Belkin n52 Nostromo. They were brilliant until this recent iteration but their enshittification of bells and whistles and lights caused all kinds of issues with it actually bloody working.

yes.  Scarlet Shocker is using one that is unliked.  Not sure if mine is similar, or my tolerance for garbage is higher.  Mine is 5? years old now.  I wish it had one or two more thumb twitch buttons.  I have the 20 keys set up to match two power trays, so I can operate most regular powers with a touch.  and movement, jump, and target nearest with thumb.  If i had one or two more thumb buttons I could do target next, and...  well, something always fills a empty button.  I use a razer mouse but honestly do the heavy gaming on the Tartarus.  using the mouse for viewing, controlling map, buttons not on the two important trays, doors, etc.  Maybe I will look into coding more into that.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Wow.

I get by on the keyboard and a 3-button mouse with a middle-button-wheel (+2 buttons) and 2 left-side buttons (+2 buttons = 7) (which I've bound but almost never use).

I adapted more with the game keybindings and other settings (like BadgeReporter and my Commands Popmenus).  Following the article linked below long ago (it came out in 2011 and was just updated this week!), I changed over to WERD movement keys to give me more keys around them.  Rebound those.  And S and F keys trigger the macros in Tray 3 Slots 9 and 10, where each Toon has its tailored toggle-turnon macros for S=add stealth (I love love love stealth, have it on all Toons) and F=add fighting protection.

I use WERD in a few games that it really helps (at least in SWTOR, which I've not played for a long time now).

Yep that's me as well, except I have a two-button mouse with wheel.  But every player in CoH and all of gaming would cry if they knew my movement and combat key positioning.

The wheel is almost certainly 3 buttons in one.  Push down for the middle button.  Roll back for another.  Roll forward for the third.

My mouse has up/down buttons on the side, which I use to move between workspaces when I am multiboxing. Other than that, everything I do is with popmenus and keybinds.

I keep looking at something like this device, though. I don't know if the software would let me tie a key to just type "/league Hi There!" or whatever. Seems like a lot of devices like this want to execute key commands (like CTRL+C or CTRL+V) rather than just send a text string. Anyone have experience with this sort of thing?

The sticker is Awesome.  Love the control pad too.  If it still works well, why re-invent the wheel with a new option?
