Sky Splitter: Increased bonus damage inflicted by Sky Splitter while under level 3 Perfection from scale 0.828 to scale 1.656. Fixed a bug where the power would grant a new level 1 perfection at the same time it consumed level 3. Eye of the Storm: Increased bonus damage inflicted by Eye of the Storm while under level 3 Perfection from scale 0.1892 to scale 0.4920. Fixed a bug where this power would not remove perfection stacks when executing a finisher. Fixed a bug where the power would grant a new level 1 perfection at the same time it consumed level 3.

On Live: On Brainstorm: (i) Sky Splitter on test is doing something wrong with Perfection of Body stacks - it's consuming 3 then immediately adding 1 before it actually lands. (ii) Eye of the Storm is also doing something wrong - there is a delay of a few seconds before it consumes 3 stacks. This is long enough to get a Sky Splitter off. Edited May 27 by Maelwys

Only unintentional bugs that have a negative affect need reported, the rest are features... 😝 See post above for reference: Yuks notwithstanding; there's really no point in keeping schtum... the only thing the bug with EoTS is good for is activating Sky Splitter; which from what I can tell is also broken and currently always acts as if it's only got a single stack of Perfection of Body active regardless.

Oh well only reading as having one stack for Sky Splitter counts as a negative certainly.

EoTS is only adding ~20 damage total unfortunately; so barely noteworthy. But not having the chain mess up due to the occasional miss is nice. Overall a step in the right direction for Staff; even if my Tank's AoE damage potential will be taking a major hit due to the Gauntlet tweak's impact on GS, IS and EoTS... Edited May 29 by Maelwys
Ryko Nailo Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Looks like a new bug in the new build, stacks of Perfection no longer refresh, as such you have a very short window to use them and can't avoid burning to keep the max stack buffs, I haven't tested it on every AT, but can confirm at least Tanker and Stalker versions of Staff don't work and it happens regardless of which stance you are in / it built into stalkers. 2

Yeah I'm seeing that too. Doesn't matter what attack I use, it's not refreshing or overwriting the effect when at 3 stacks. All three types are affected so it's not just Perfection of Body this is occurring with. (Can see this with Mercurial Blow in screenshot below) To be fair, when I rechecked on Live the combat log text there doesn't show the stacks refreshing either; however the icon in the buff window never vanishes and SS/EoTS never lose their circles until I click one of them. On Brainstorm, both the icon in the buff window and the circle around SS/EoTS vanish soon after hitting 3 stacks despite spamming regular staff attacks. Edited May 30 by Maelwys

At least with Staff, my Night Widow is on par with my Stalker. Both are outperforming my Scrapper by 10-15% in times. That is with stance switching or not on the scrapper. I don't imagine that I need to point out the obvious, but it still is a pretty limp staff to be blunt. I was just fighting cimerorans on the wall just to burn time and good lord it takes forever to kill them. Heck, I wasn't even taking out any bosses, even the damned lieuts took forever. I've played almost all the other tank sets and have a feel for what they can do. This set still lags significantly. You want a particularly depressing moment- I finally get perfection to 3 and drop sky splitter on the lieut, and it misses. Poof, perfection gone, and one roman just laughing at me (ok, he didn't but he should have). I described this set as breakdancing with a limp staff, and the buffs have not changed that appreciably. 1 1 1

It looks like it's not getting the same reduction to base damage as other "<15ft base radius" Tanker AoEs. Live: Brainstorm: But it turns out that's only in the power details screen. In the combat log it's actually still dealing greatly reduced damage. Live: Brainstorm: I wondered if this was unique to Staff on Tankers; but it's not. If you look at the numbers being displayed for EoTS on Scrappers, Stalkers and Brutes they're waaaay bigger in the Power Details Screen on Brainstorm than they are in the Power Details Screen on Live... but it doesn't translate into a real increase in the combat log.
