Troo Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I like em. There's a good amount of variety to unpack. Their regen or healing when they get low is very noticeable. "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) Si vis pacem, para bellum

There is a bug, due to some changes in mob regeneration. The Instant Healing that Zenigrafter use is basically twice more effective than it should be, combined with their high resists. It's hard to defeat them while IH is runnning. The devs know, but it was only found just be OB started. Night Pixie on Excelsior Introduction to Arachnos Widows - Night/Blood/Fortunata

Blackbird71 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 As expected, there has been some discussion within my SG regarding this patch. Generally, opinions have been mixed - there are features that some like that others don't, and vice versa. However the one opinion that seems to be common among all who have weighed in is that they do not like the Freaklok as a group in general. I don't want to put words in their mouths regarding the reasons, so I'll just say that personally I dislike both the flavor of the "mash-up" as well as the mechanics of the group. When they were limited to the new "elite" missions, they could be ignored. However, populating a zone with them only assures that I'll be avoiding Khalisti Wharf once this goes live. I'm sure others will disagree and I'll get hate for this opinion, but HC asked for feedback so I figured all points of view should be shared.

Just noting they only exist any real numbers in the southeast corner. Generally, the south east and west corners are the dangerous areas. Everything else is lower level. Starhammer Posted May 31 Posted May 31 My only problem with Freaklock is they don't really stand out to me. They're a hybrid faction with a hybrid origin, but they have not yet done anything to make me see them for themselves. That's not a big deal obviously, but it's a place to do some work on them in the future I guess.
Monos King Posted Thursday at 10:58 AM Posted Thursday at 10:58 AM (edited) Power info is currently bugged and stated to be buffing the player. It does not appear to be actually doing this. They do have some lore and history from this arc: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Doc_Buzzsaw#The_Freakish_Lab_of_Dr._Vahzilok_(30-39)_Act_1_and_Act_2 4 Night Pixie on Excelsior Introduction to Arachnos Widows - Night/Blood/Fortunata

I'm just saying, on the whole, they don't really stand out on their own rather than being known for being hybrids. It'd be nice to see another arc where they get to separate themselves a bit further, and find a niche of their own.
