I would imagine it wouldn't be a heavy lift from a coding perspective, given the number of throwing animations. As for the Tier 3/large area attack, I see partially reusing the Thousand Cuts animation but with ninja stars, daggers, etc. We could call it 'All In' (or something more appropriate). 2

I'd love to see a thrown weapon set, shrunken, throwing knives, etc. There's already 5 powers in the dominator set (if you include envenomed blades). Might be cool if the nuke was a cone when you throw several of your weapon. I'm not sure what to include in the remaining 3 powers though. 2 What this team needs is more Defenders

Alternate weapon options could include various types of knives, playing cards, frisbees, sports balls, etc. For the powers, I think it might look something like this: T1: Shuriken Throw (basic crappy ST) T2: Basic slightly less crappy ST T3: Fan of Knives (basic cone, perhaps Energy Torrent underhand throw animation) T4: Masterful Throw (sniper power, Sents get something else) T5: Envenomed Blades (Aim replacement) T6: Trick Shot (Chain) T7: Another strong ST of some sort (a volley, perhaps?) T8: Exploding Shuriken (TAOE) T9: One Thousand Blades (One Thousand Cuts, but as a ranged cone) For its "utility," I think it could be tuned to have quick/snappy attacks like a sort of "ranged Claws" set, and it has the added toxic damage on its Aim replacement. Some slight changes recommended and specific stuff added in where you've got gaps: T1) Blade Toss (Tranq Dart animation, right handed throw) T2) Shuriken Throw T3) Trick Shot T4) Spreading Throw (Shuriken Throw animation, Cone, individually targeting projectiles) T5) Envenomed Blades T6) Caltrops (Longer range, larger area) T7) Masterful Throw (Sentinels get the same power with the Snipe component removed) T8) Exploding Shuriken T9) One Thousand Blades (One Thousand Cuts, but as a ranged cone, successive waves of individually targeted projectiles) Most of the attacks would be between .83s and 1.17s activation times, making it a very fast-cycling powerset, overall. Explosive Shuriken, for example, is the longest non-snipe power in the Martial Assault set with a whopping 1.67s animation time. One Thousand Blades with its 3.30s animation time would be the longest animating power in the set. This would make it pretty rough on proc chances, overall... but I think I'm cool with that? Just have to make One Thousand Cuts really worthwhile, I think. 1

Caltrops won't happen since Defenders got it in traps, blasters/Corruptors can get it in their secondary, and Sentinels can get it in their APP What this team needs is more Defenders

The version I suggested a while back looked pretty much the same as Steampunkette's, especially leaning into being "ranged claws" with lower damage but also low cast time. Personally, I'm not fond of every new set being suggested with Swap Ammo or builder/spender.

I think that effect would make more sense on a full blown Toxin Blast set, since Chemical Rounds already set the precedent for toxic-themed things to reduce your damage. And it just makes more sense (poisons can weaken you) than getting weakened by getting cut or stabbed (most normal blades and bullets in COH don't produce the -damage effect so it would be out of place). .

Make it a mix of lethal and toxic, and then focus that for the build-up clone or add an additional toxic dot for the next few attacks ala fiery embrace etc. Helped make Honest Game Trailers channel content Flint Eastwood
