Weylin Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 This has been a constant frustration in minion management. Ideally I'd love to see an "Attack from Position" command, that orders them to attack in accordance with the current stance, but to not pursue targets out of range, and to not use melee unless approached. The suggestion in the title would probably be an easier fix, but not entirely solving the problem.
biostem Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Really, just a simple "stay put" command/stance would do it. It seems odd that there's a "goto" command, but not a "stop in your tracks and don't move" one. Another option would be to allow us to selectively enable to disable pet attacks/powers...

Sura Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 It'd be cool to be able to go the other way too (limit pets to melee attacks). In order for the Bruiser to effectively use Noxious Gas I have to not upgrade him fully.
srmalloy Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 The 'stay' command doesn't always 'take', particularly when you get a runner. I've has battle droids in 'stay' mode happily take off after a runner and keep chasing it until explicitly called back or defeating the runner.

They'd just do that "running-in-place" thing that immob'd mobs do when they want to get to somewhere and can't, instead of attacking probably. Though still better than having them move in a lot of situations.
