MunkiLord
I can't look at this right now because I'm at work, but I have one of these with Incarnate abilities unlocked and because of that, it's stupid easy to get perma hasten and softcapped defenses. So if you haven't already, I suggest factoring the Alpha Slot into your build. I also have Spring Attack, and it's very underwhelming in my opinion and I'm planning on dropping it during my next respec. I also have Fireball and use that a ton. I'll share my love build and some more thoughts this evening. The Trevor Project
Shivinski
That is a metric ton of AoE. It really is haha. It just seems silly fun. Also I should probably credit you for the Shield slots. As far as I'm concerned your slotting for /shield scrappers should be the gold standard. I just can't settle on a first 50. I have a SS/WP brute @30 but I'm thinking about either making this Elec/Shield or Murcie's Dark/Shield and taking that to 50. It'll be a few hours, but I will absolutely share. I would like to warn that the build I'm sharing is absolutely not my final build, it's something I cobbled together with my leveling build, but was still able to reach the soft cap and get perma hasten. I do still have some endurance problems, but not that bad anymore. As far as Incarnate stuff, the Alpha Slot is the only one I think you should really plan for sooner rather than later since it unlocks so very fast and gives a significant boost to a few different stats. I'm using top tier Alpha Ability Agility that improves recharge, endurance mod, and defense buffs(https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Agility_Core_Paragon). It made reaching my goals with my Elec/SD significantly easier. It's like having an additional 33% recharge enhancement in every and a 20% defense buff enhancement in powers, with 2/3 of that boost completely ignoring ED. MunkiLord
So here is my current build on live, it's a ton of fun. I will be making several changes, adding in some more expensive sets and dropping Spring Attack. Plus a few other powers will have less slots or more. But this is something I cobbled together for less than 300 million buying everything one the spot rather than putting in low bids. HelenCarnate
Did something change where you can use more than 5 of one set bonus? You have 7 LotG + recharge. 2 of those could be just plain Def to keep the other set bonuses with just a hair higher defense or the def/rech/end one for a little bit more end/second. Papaschtroumpf
LoTGs are not set bonuses. Maybe you still cna't have more than 5, but they definitely don't "compete" with any of the other +7.5% recharge
marcussmythe
The LOTG Unique IO bonus is, I am informed, filed under a different 'name' by the game than the 7.5% Bonus provided by sets. GritIron
Cant say im a fan of spring attack.... The Animation hits me as all wrong and feels underwhelming. I ended up swapping out Spring attack for Cross Punch on my Shield/Elec tank and that feels right, tho im a big fan of the rear back and slug a guy attack in cross punch. :)

Papaschtroumpf
I like to build my final build as a I go rather than frankenslot then re-buy everything later, especially now that we have attuned enhancements the ATOs can be slotted with the non-superior version while levelling up and catalyzed later, I thin the avalanche also? (I've never used Avalanche before) What is your sugegstion for Chain Induction instead of the purple set? I'm thinking 5 slots Crushing impact, you lose some of the +rchg but not all of it and some resists which is probably OK Otherwise your build is similar in many ways to what I had worked up for myself. I do have some powers our of order from yours (e.g. Combat Jump early and Buildup later). I need to compare the numbers for Stamina+Health, I have A Regenerative Tissue +regen in Health and Stamina only double slotted End Mod + Proc, so I lose on the +rec and +HP compared your your slotting. I'm only lvl20 and don't feel like Endurance is that huge of a problem so far.
Papaschtroumpf
A couple more questions: Kismet + acc worth it because AoEs have an accuracy handicap? You have some decent set bonuses for +acc already In Pine's is shows up as a ToHit bonus rather than affecting accuracy itself. I'd be tempted to use that slot in health for that Regen Tissue Proc The one thing that sucks about shield is the status resist being a clicky (with a long animation on top of that!). So far (again only lvl20) I have not put it on Auto but I click it when I remember of when it's needed, especially since it's not perma when unslotted (200s recharge vs 120s duration). The way you slotted yours with a Hami you have recahrge in it in addition to the recharge bonus, so ifyou put it on auo you now have the 2-3s animation every minute. I don;t think it stacks on itself, so there is really no point in having recharge in it, right? (your LoTG and Set bonuses are enough to make sure it'll be perma even when slowed some). So why not slot a Def/End IO instead? EDIT: Pine's won;t let me do that. I can't put IOs in this power, that must be why you are using the Hami. Papaschtroumpf
more questions, trying to learn: Why 5x LoTG in Weave? Is the extra Mez resist important even though we have Active Defense? Is in in case it's down? I see that the set bonuses you chose provide a lot of that (Pine's tells me 72%?), that extra slot could also go in Health for the Regenerative Tissue Proc or go into Tough to slot the Gladiator Armor +def earlier in the build (examplaring is important to me) Also in Pine's Against All Odds shows a duration of 17s yet it's a toggle??? I have planned for a Blessing of the Zephyr +KB protection in Superjump instead of Stealth (I like to have full stealth, which requires 2 powers, but not sure about 1/2 stealth). Maybe it's because I don't have Active Defense perma yet but once I do KB protection will be overkill?
Papaschtroumpf
Avalanche (let alone Superior Avalanche) are out of control on the market! 25 mil a piece??? I'm thinking about putting in Overwhelming force instead since they are rather plentiful with the summer blockbuster and have some good regen+HP bonuses I can respec into Superior Avalanche when I hit 50 Part of the issue stems from not being able to get them from a merit vendor. Although looking at the set the only appealing thing is the 5% melee defense but that doesn't really open my build up all that much so right now at 25m I don't see the added benefit. My bad I'm not sure if the status protection stacks, but the defense debuff resistance does. The Trevor Project
Shivinski
Made a couple changes. Still super dupes expensive, but it should do the trick.
